Obituary.
We are so saddened to inform the entire BGB fraternity of the demise of our very own chaplain rev Ruth Endricia who was promoted to glory this morning more details will be shared soon.
Our hearts are with the deceased family and all brigade fraternity.
We have opened contribution to support the burial arrangements which will be communicated in the due cause.
May your soul rest in peace mumy😭😭

Hope all is well with you. This serves to let you know about the Home going and promotion to Glory of Mrs Lois Angualuga last night at Mulagu National referral Hospital. A very Senior, Committed, Diligent, Self motivated, Long serving Girls' Brigade Officer in the diocese of Madi- Westnile. A friend, Mother, Mentor and a Teacher to many. As the BGBU fraternity, let's fully identify with and encourage Our own Mr Jacob Angualuga and the children at this moment of experiencing the biggest loss in the family. Otherwise we will live to remember and celebrate Mum Lois' life of dedicated service and Rich Legacy among Boys, Girls and colleague Officers. God gave her and has taken her to be with Him, may His name be praised.

This was a very unique burial where father and daughter were buried in one grave: Brigade Officer- Nafutali Tiyo and Christian Women Fellowship- Zila Ocokoru. They died in a bus accident at Mijera near Nakasongola hospital. They were going to celebrate the Uganda Martyrs day. It is possible that more than 6 people died in the accident while many were injured and taken for treatment in hospitals.

When preaching Rev. Grace Bileni the Boy's and Girl's Brigade Field Officer of Madi and West Nile Diocese applauded Nafutali Tiyo for serving Brigade very well. He was a committed soldier of Christ. He fought the good fight of faith. He accomplished the work he was given. He is a listener. He is friendly to children. He is a good and patient person who accepts teachings and corrections. He has completed the race. He sees Jesus face to face. He taught children the word of God. John 13:20. Brigade is work of for developing the Bridge members.

Tiyo gave his life to God. He is now in heaven together with his beloved daughter Zila Ocokoru who is equally a committed christian who is a retired member of Arua Municipal Council.

Though Tiyo lives in Jiako, he was a member of Abiriambati church all his life. He was laid to rest at Jiako.

As the Very Rev. Alber Limio Avi the Archdeacon of Arua Archdeaconry stood to bless the congregation, she said that faith and confession should be our way of life to gain strength and to stand firm in Christ. We should be prepared to get our passport to stand before Christ. God should make this day to be your salvation.
