DECLARATION OF FAITH

■I believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

■I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, and was buried for the redemption of mankind. He rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, where He intercedes for believers (John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

■I believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone, not by works, and is available to all who repent of their sins and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10).

■I believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believer, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, and guides the Church to live a holy and victorious life (John 16:8; Acts 1:8).

■I believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and the final authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

■I believe in the Church, the Body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, and demonstrate God’s love through righteous living and service to humanity (Matthew 28:19–20; Ephesians 4:11–13).

■I believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal life of the redeemed, and the eternal separation of those who reject Christ. I believe in the visible and glorious second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 5:28–29; Revelation 22:12).

■I commit myself to live according to God’s Word, to love God wholeheartedly, love others sincerely, walk in holiness, pursue righteousness, and faithfully serve God in obedience until Christ returns.

■This is my faith. This is my confession.

■To God be the glory in the highest.

I promised you and didn’t fulfill it, forgive me.
I hurt you, whether knowingly or unknowingly, forgive me.
I failed to meet your expectations, forgive me.
I didn’t reflect the Christlike character I should, pray for my soul and forgive me.
I spoke harshly, unfairly, or out of impatience, forgive me.
I failed to encourage, uplift, or support you when I could, forgive me.
I judged or misunderstood you, forgive me.
I neglected to show love, kindness, or compassion, forgive me.
I allowed pride, anger, or selfishness to take control, forgive me.
I was silent when I should have spoken, or spoke when I should have been silent, forgive me.
I failed to honor God in my words, actions, or thoughts, forgive me.
this year comes to an end, I lay down all shortcomings and ask for forgiveness from those I’ve hurt, knowingly or unknowingly, and I commit to walking in love, humility, and grace in the year ahead.

We have limited time. Whoever tells you that you have plenty of time is deceiving you. The moment to redeem your time is now. You cannot predict what comes next.
Make the most of every moment you have. If you can be good, be good now. If you can be kind, be kind now. If you can add value to someone in your family, your marriage, or your relationships do it without delay.
Do not wait for an uncertain tomorrow. The best time is now. Redeem the time, maximize it, and make today count.
