Many people know me today as Prophet Thomas (Man of Faith).

They see me preaching.

They see me praying for people.

They hear me teaching the Word of God.

But very few people know the man I used to be.

There was a time when I was lost.

There was a time when I believed my life would never change.

There was a time when darkness became my lifestyle.

This book is my true testimony.

It is not written to glorify my past.

It is written to glorify Jesus Christ.

If He changed my life…

He can change yours too.

Anytime you obey, there is a blessing that follows. God is not asking you to do something hard for His benefit; it’s for your benefit so He can release more favor and influence in your life. Whenever you feel that prompting, that knowing, telling you to call that friend and encourage them, stop staying up so late at night, you need more rest. Or start treating your spouse better, quit being so harsh and condescending. That’s not you just thinking up things; that’s God putting that desire in you, wanting you to come up higher. The beauty is He not only gives you the challenge, but with that instruction comes the power and the anointing to accomplish it. Thomas 🕊️

Let’s unpack Hebrews 12:2 in a simple but deep way:

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…”

1. “Looking unto Jesus”

This is about focus and direction.
It means fixing your eyes on Jesus—not on problems, people, or circumstances.

* When you look at challenges → fear increases
* When you look at Jesus → faith grows

It’s a daily decision: Where is your attention?

2. “Author of our faith”

“Author” means the beginner, originator, or source.

Jesus is the one who:

* Started your faith journey
* Planted belief in your heart
* Called you before you even chose Him

👉 Your faith didn’t start with you—it started with Him.

3. “Finisher of our faith”

“Finisher” means the one who completes, perfects, and brings to fulfillment.

Jesus:

* Doesn’t abandon what He starts
* Works on your faith through every season
* Will bring you to maturity and victory

👉 Even when you feel weak, He is still working.

4. The deeper message

This verse is saying:

* Jesus is your beginning → He gave you faith
* Jesus is your sustainer → He strengthens your faith
* Jesus is your end → He will complete your faith

So your job is not to struggle alone…
Your job is to keep your eyes on Him.

When life is hard:

* Don’t focus on the storm → focus on Jesus
* Don’t rely only on your strength → trust His work in you
* Don’t quit → because He hasn’t finished with you yet
