Pentecost Sunday 🔥

This past Pentecost Sunday, our church felt the weight of God’s presence in a real way.

We had a guest with us — Pastor Elidaima John from Mapiga Miracle Center, a branch of CMFI out in the Coastal Region near Dar. He didn’t just come alone. With him were two of his sons, Johnson and Joel, sitting quietly and standing with their dad as he shared.

When Pastor Elidaima stood up, he didn’t preach theory. He preached from his life. He told us story after story of the things he’s walked through, and how in every single one, God was the one steering the ship. The church sat still, listening. You could see people leaning in, encouraged, reminded that God doesn’t abandon His people mid-journey.

Then he turned to a question we’ve all asked: _Why does the enemy discourage people?_

His answer was simple and sobering: discouragement is one of the enemy’s favorite tools. It’s meant to pull you off course, to make you doubt, to make you miss what God has prepared for you.

But on Sunday, we left remembering this — God is still at the helm. And if He’s driving, we don’t have to fear the road
