Be prepared before the day of your showing forth.
Before God reveals, He refines. Before He sends you forth, He strengthens what is within. Moses spent forty years in the desert before he stood before Pharaoh. John the Baptist was in the wilderness until the day of his manifestation to Israel (Luke 1:80). Even Jesus waited in silence for thirty years before one word of public ministry was spoken. David was anointed long before he was enthroned.
When the Lord calls you forth, He desires not only your gift, but your readiness. The foolish virgins were shut out, not for lack of invitation, but for lack of preparation (Matthew 25:1–13). So, fill your lamp with oil now. The oil of prayer, of obedience, of the Word. For the day of your revealing will not be announced in advance; it will come suddenly, as dawn breaks after the long night.
Beloved, do not rush your process. The secret place is not punishment, it is preparation. Heaven invests deeply in what it intends to display. You are being shaped, not delayed. The hidden season is where roots grow deep enough to sustain fruit that will last.
When the day of your showing forth arrives, you must not only have a word, but also the weight to carry it. The anointing is not poured out on the unready; it rests upon the proven. So allow the Lord to perfect the unseen places. Your motives, your patience, your obedience. For the moment will come when God says, “Now.” And when He does, your preparation will meet opportunity, and His glory will be revealed through you.
Therefore, be prepared before the day of your showing forth. Let your heart be steadfast, your hands diligent, and your spirit attuned to His voice. When the appointed time comes, you will not be found wanting, but ready shining as a vessel fit for the Master’s use (2 Timothy 2:21).
