台南念佛會創會於1979年，是由一群佛門信徒蓮友組成的公民團體，宗旨在於為往生先人靈前誦經念佛（阿彌陀經、地藏經），免費結緣。目前累積會員近百人，每年大約為近百位往生者結緣服務。（covid-19疫情爆發後，服務對象暫時侷限於會友）
