1990 母會~水湳浸信會馮隆曦牧師來到大隆路35號，給了這新堂好棒的名字「活水浸信會」。
1990 浸神的神學生李一如傳道來活水實習，算是首任傳道
1991 聘請林麗雲傳道為活水的專任傳道 。
1992 母會又差派彭茂丹夫妻、宋旭煜夫妻來到活水一起擔負起活水的聖工 。
1994 林傳道結婚，次年待產離職 。
1995 唐定新傳道接任為第三任傳道，遷移至大英街268號一、二樓的會堂 。
2000年七月 活水財團法人籌備會成立。
2001年四月 完成了法人登記，全名為「財團法人中華基督教台中市活水浸信會」，在母會董事會支持下，買下豐樂公園對面湖水岸藝術街的百坪一二樓會堂 。
