這幾天為了迎接媽祖聖誕，宮裡準備了壽麵、壽桃與水果，也送上祝壽花禮予 財團法人嘉義縣朴子配天宮。

廟與廟之間的祝賀與往來，也是地方裡很重要的人情味！有人來參香、有人來祝壽，大家彼此走動、互相關心，相信這幾天全台的媽祖廟一定特別熱鬧。

祝福天上聖母聖誕千秋，也願大家平安順心🙏

To celebrate Mazu’s birthday, the temple prepared longevity noodles, peaches, fruits,
and floral offerings for Puzi Peitian Temple.

These visits and greetings between temples are also a special part of local life here.

People come to pray, offer blessings, and simply check in with one another. The temple has felt especially lively these past few days.

Wishing Mazu a joyful birthday, and wishing everyone peace and well-being.

福天宮｜地方日常：雙溪口社區外的玉米田

在前往福天宮的路途中，總會經過這一片又一片的農田。那是一種很貼近土地的氣味，也是日常生活最踏實的風景。

這次回「嘉」，剛好遇見一整片碩大的玉米田，一株一株的挺立著，果穗飽滿，正是準備採收的時候。看著這樣的畫面，讓人不禁放慢腳步，也提醒著我們很多事情，其實都值得停下來，好好看一眼。

玉米在夏季大約 70～80 天就能採收，秋季則約 70～75 天，在清晨或傍晚採收時的甜度最高、風味也最鮮美喔！（by 熱愛玉米的小編）

On the way to Futian Temple, you’ll always pass fields like these.
There’s something about them—
grounded, simple, and quietly comforting.

This time back in Chiayi, we came across a wide stretch of cornfields, standing tall, full and almost ready for harvest.

It’s the kind of view that naturally makes you slow down,
and reminds you that some moments are worth pausing for.

A little corn fact to share:
Corn usually takes around 70–80 days to grow in summer, and about 70–75 days in cooler seasons. It tastes best when harvested in the early morning or late afternoon (by a corn-loving editor).

Futian Temple Annual Highlight｜Shekou Mazu Visits Again

Shekou Mazu from Xiluo returned to Futian Temple once again. This yearly gathering begins with the familiar sounds of drums and firecrackers.

The temple courtyard fills with people and incense, where the sacred and the lively come together. Many pass under the palanquin, praying for peace and protection.

Moments like this are more than just rituals—
they’re a way of remembering, and meeting again.

福天宮｜神明故事：吳府三千歲（下）

繼上一則介紹「三王」的外貌與「斬私佛」故事後，這次想談談祂的個性與歷史。

說到吳府三千歲，多半會想到祂的果斷，但其實，祂的心思是很細膩的。在民間信仰裡，祂被視為神界的「地理師」，不少人在做選擇時，會來請示祂的方向。該果斷的時候果斷，該指引的時候細心。

祂也一直都在雙溪口福天宮，靜靜守護這片地方。

不過，其實也曾經有一段時間不被看見。

早在清道光年間，侯家三兄弟自祖籍地將祂請來，隨著家族渡海來台，在雙溪口安座。

後來時代改變了，在日治時期民間信仰受到限制，為了保護神像，先人將吳府三千歲藏於糧倉之中。這一藏，就是五十年。直到光復之後，才再次被請出、修復、開光，重新回到人們的生活裡。

對很多人來說，祂不只是神明，更像是一段被守護下來的記憶。

Wu Fu Third Prince is known for being decisive, but he’s also thoughtful. Many people come to him when they need direction.

Firm when needed, gentle when it matters—
that balance is what makes people feel at ease.

He’s always been here at Futian Temple, quietly watching over this place. But there was a time when he was no longer seen.

Long ago, he was brought across the sea and placed here in Shuangxikou. Later, to protect him, he was hidden in a grain storage—
for fifty years.

After that, he returned to the people. For many, he’s more than a deity—
he’s a memory that has stayed.

福天宮｜神明故事：吳府三千歲（上）

今天想和大家介紹福天宮主祀的神明——
吳府三千歲。

如果神明也有個性，祂大概是「看起來安靜，但其實很有原則的那一型」！

祂的本名為吳孝寬，是隋唐時期的人物，文武雙全；不只會打仗，也精通天文與地理。而在五府千歲中排行第三，大家都叫祂「三王」，也是少數沒有鬍鬚的一位。

在民間故事裡，祂其實是出了名的嫉惡如仇，最常被提起的一段，叫做「三王斬私佛」。

據說有些地方供奉來路不明的神明，甚至是惡鬼假冒的「私佛」，當吳三王降乩時，會一一詢問對方來歷，若發現不正，便會直接出手處理。

簡單來說，祂是那種會幫你分辨真假，也會替你把事情處理好的人。所以很多人遇到難解的問題時，會特別來請祂幫忙。

Futian Temple｜Wu Fu Third Prince (Part 1)

Today, we’d like to introduce the main deity of Futian Temple—
Wu Fu Third Prince.

If deities had personalities, he would be the kind who seems calm, but has very clear principles.

His name is Wu Xiaokuan, a historical figure from the Sui–Tang period, known for both wisdom and strength.

Among the Five Princes, he ranks third—
and is also one of the few without a beard.

In local stories, he’s known for standing firmly against what isn’t right. One of the most talked-about tales about him is called “cutting down false gods.”

It is said that when something doesn’t feel right,
he would step in, ask questions, and deal with it directly.

Simply put, he’s someone people turn to when they need clarity—
and when they need things handled properly.

福天宮｜陪伴大家成長的文昌帝君

放學時間的雙溪國小，有一群孩子背著書包走過福天宮，聊著今天的課業，朝著家的方向前進。

福天宮位於雙溪國小旁，廟裡也供奉著守護學業的「文昌帝君」。

以前考試之前，家裡會特別前往拜拜嗎？

文昌帝君（又稱梓潼帝君），是掌管文運、功名與考試的神明，在民間信仰裡，一直都是學生與家長很重要的依靠。很多人會在考試前來拜，也有人在考完後回來還願。

常見的供品其實也很有意思——
蔥（聰明）、芹菜（勤奮）、蒜（會算），包子、粽子（包中），蘿蔔（好彩頭）、水（文思泉湧）...

有些則會特別避開，像是蛋（零分）、丸子（完蛋）。
如果要來參拜，也可以準備准考證影本，或平常使用的文具，在祈福時，記得報上自己的姓名、考試與願望。

Futian Temple｜Growing up with Wenchang Dijun

Right after school, you’ll often see kids walking past Futian Temple—
backpacks on, chatting about their day, heading home.

The temple sits right next to Shuangxi Elementary School, and inside, there’s a deity many families turn to for school and exams.

Have you ever visited a temple before an exam? Or had someone in your family bring you to pray “just in case”?

Around here,it’s pretty common. People stop by before big tests, and sometimes come back after, just to say thanks.

You’ll also notice some interesting offerings—
things that sound like “being smart,” “working hard,” or “getting the answers right.” Simple, but meaningful in their own way.

If you ever visit, you can even bring something related to your studies—
like your notes or stationery—
and make a quiet wish.

Even if you’re not here for an exam, it’s the kind of place you can just step into for a moment.

福天宮｜地方日常

在三十年後，有機會再次與福天宮近距離相處的我們，回到廟裡整理時，除了擦拭案桌、拖地、整頓環境之外，也開始為廟埕增添一些綠意。

有四季開花、隨處都能生長的「日日春」、有紫色小花與金色果實相伴的「金露花」，還有「沙漠玫瑰」與多采多姿的「松葉牡丹」，以及耐旱、喜歡陽光的「紅雀珊瑚」等⋯⋯

有了它們的福天宮，就像多了一座小小的花園。下回來訪參拜時，不妨停下腳步，認識這些靜靜陪伴的小精靈們。

After many years, we finally have the chance to spend time here again—
cleaning, taking care of the space, and slowly adding a bit of green to the temple grounds.

There are periwinkles that bloom all year, golden dewdrop with purple flowers and bright orange berries, desert roses, colorful moss roses, and crown of thorns that love the sun.

With them, Futian Temple feels like a small garden of its own.

在前往雙溪口福天宮的路上，總會經過這樣一片風景。有田、有樹；有蟲鳴、有鳥叫。

人生的旅途，隨著求學、工作，輾轉走過幾個城市，也去過幾個國家。但每當回頭想起最初的成長記憶，最能讓人安定下來的，往往還是家鄉的樣子。

朴子有市區，也有郊區，從熱鬧走向悠閒，不過是短短不到十分鐘的車程。

或許下次來嘉義，可以從台82線14出口下交流道，接朴子三路、嘉46鄉道，走進這片純樸的雙溪口。

rice fields, trees, and the sounds of birds and insects.

Life takes us to different cities, and sometimes even different countries. But when we think back, it’s often our hometown that brings the most sense of calm.

In Puzi, the town and the countryside are close to each other—
just a short 10-minute drive apart.

Maybe next time you visit Chiayi, take Exit 14 from Highway 82, follow Puzi 3rd Road and County Road 46, and slowly make your way into Shuangxikou.

福天宮廟訊｜西螺社口福天宮將於5月2日來訪

昨日， 西螺福天宮社口媽 廟務人員親自到訪，就天上聖母即將展開的進香祈安遶境，進行行前交流與細節確認。

今年由「大媽」陪同「二媽」回娘家，前往財團法人嘉義縣朴子配天宮謁祖進香。將於農曆三月十四日至三月十七日（國曆4月30日至5月3日），展開為期四天的行程。

同時也是大正十五年古路關牌滿一百週年，這條有記載的香路，正式邁入百年。這不僅是一段信仰的路程，更是一條承載記憶與情感的回家之路！

行程資訊：
04/30（四）停駕 新港奉天宮開臺媽袓
05/01（五）停駕雙溪口石碼宮
05/02（六）行經雙溪口福天宮、下寮石碼宮等，駐駕祖廟 財團法人嘉義縣朴子配天宮
05/03（日）回鑾安座

*遶境隊伍預計於5月2日（六）上午7時，抵達雙溪口福天宮

Futian Temple News｜Visit from Xiluo Shekou Futian Temple on May 2

Yesterday, representatives from Xiluo Shekou Futian Temple visited
to prepare for the upcoming Mazu pilgrimage,
discussing details and arrangements ahead of the journey.

This year’s pilgrimage to Puzi Peitian Temple
will take place from April 30 to May 3 (Lunar March 14–17), over four days.

During this journey, the First Mazu accompanies the Second Mazu on a return pilgrimage to the ancestral temple.

This year also marks the 100th anniversary
of the historic pilgrimage route.

More than a religious procession, this journey is a return—
a path shaped by memory, devotion, and connection.

Schedule:
Apr 30｜Stop at Xingang Fengtian Temple
May 1｜Stop at Shuangxikou Shima Temple
May 2｜Passing Futian Temple and others, arriving at Puzi Peitian Temple
May 3｜Return and settling ceremony

The procession is expected to arrive at Shuangxikou Futian Temple at 7:00 AM on May 2.

Before the journey begins, this in-person gathering brings a sense of grounding—
a quiet and steady connection that supports what lies ahead.

兄弟之間的交流，不只是久違的相聚，也包含了彼此在廟務與信仰上的交流與延續。在神與神的互動之中，能隱約感受到神明各自的性情與風範，以及那份守護地方、願萬事平安的心意。

神明安座於一方，守護一方；而透過「分靈」，將神聖的靈氣與香火延續至更多有緣之地，讓信仰得以傳承，也讓更多人獲得庇佑與安定。

分靈，不只是儀式，更是一段被認可的緣分，也是福天宮信仰持續開枝散葉的象徵。願這份守護，隨著香火綿延，在不同的地方，持續安定人心。

Beyond reunion, this gathering is also a continuation of connection. Through the interaction between the deities, one can sense their distinct presence—
as well as a shared intention to protect and bring peace.

While each temple anchors its own place, the practice of divine division (fenling) extends this spiritual lineage to new places and people.

It is not just a ritual, but a continuation of faith—
allowing blessings to grow and reach further. May this protection carry on, wherever incense and prayers travel.
