Proverbs 14:31

" He that oppresseth the poor, reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor."

In this PANDEMIC, some employers are taking the opportunity to "Fire" employees. This is the behavior of one who oppresses the poor. God says that such persons reproach their maker (God). The proverb also says that one who honours his maker (God) shows mercy to the poor. If you are an employer, in this Pandemic, honour God by showing mercy to your employees and keeping them on the job.

In these troubling COVID times, what do you do when peace seems far away?
I encourage you to sing aloud in your beds. Give God glory and praise, and your situation will change.

Good night Facebook fans. Here is your Wisdom nugget # 9.

Proverbs 6:25 - 26 "Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. 26. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread...."
Men are finding themselves with women because of their "good looks" and many women are ending up living with men in common-law relationships. Many are eventually killed (like the one today 10th. March) and many are physically abused regularly. As the proverb says ... this kind of relationship turns a man to a "piece of bread."
I am warning women... Do not enter into common-law relationships with men. It may cost you your life.

Proverbs 22:1 "A GOOD NAME is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour than silver and gold."

Many people run after riches, many times losing their reputation in the process. I can tell you today, that a good name is of much greater value than great riches. A good name can take you places where riches cannot.

Proverbs 15:1 "A SOFT answer turneth away WRATH: but GRIEVOUS words stir up ANGER."

As you enter 2021, I urge you to be soft with your words. The person you are speaking to might be under stress, and your rough words can cause him/her to become angry and violent; to your hurt. Let wisdom prevail.
