HURRICANE RELIEF ASSISTANCE FOR JAMAICA!
We are well aware of the devastating consequences of Hurricane Melissa on our sisters and brothers in Jamaica. The Board of Social Responsibility ("BOSR") is making an urgent appeal for
contribution of items and financial donations to assist the affected countries. This project is being spearheaded by the SOS PCTT Committee of the BOSR.
Following are the ways by which you can contribute to the relief effort:
A. Monetary Donations
Sessions / Pastoral Regions, groups and individuals can make their monetary donations towards the hurricane relief fund in the following ways:
1. Via deposits made into the Synod's Account with a notation “BOSR Hurricane Relief Assistance Project" at:

Account type: Savings
For accounting purposes, please email/forward a copy of the deposit slip to:

2. Via online deposits through the PCTT’s website:

Please include the following as a note:
(i) the name of the donor, and
(ii) “For the BOSR Hurricane
Relief Assistance Project”. Your support will help us purchase water and essential supplies.

B. Relief Items
Donations of relief items are also welcome (please see the attached listing of suggested items).

Suggested logistical arrangements:
• Each Pastoral Region designate a collection point for these items.
• Regions liaise with their BOSR representative in the collection drive.

Please continue to keep in prayer all those who have been affected by this catastrophe during
this period of recovery and rebuilding.

The BOSR wishes to thank all Regions and Church Workers for their assistance and support as we strive to be our Brother and Sisters’ Keepers.

1. Non-Perishable Food/ Hampers. Food items should be separately packaged and
labelled with the type of food (eg. “sardines”, “corned beef”, etc) and number of
items.
2. Disposable Utensils

(Please donate funds for water instead of physically bringing bottled water, so we can purchase and ship directly to the port.)

Emergency & Repair Supplies
1. Ropes/ Bungee Cords
2. Tarpaulins (Assorted Sizes)

5. Industrial/Heavy-Duty/ Disposable Gloves
6. Duct Tape

Hygiene Items
1. Hygiene Kits (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Bar soap, Deodorant, Shampoo and Conditioner,
Washcloth, Comb or Brush, Lotion, Wet wipes or Baby wipes, Tissue packs)
2. Toilet paper
3. Sanitary napkins/Tampons/Panty Liners (Assorted sizes)
4. Diapers (Infant and Adult)

Sanitation Items
1. Sanitizers
2. Disinfectant wipes and other disinfectant supplies
3. Chlorine tablets
4. Heavy-duty garbage bags (assorted sizes)

Health & Safety
1. First Aid kits
2. Flashlights / Lanterns
3. Assorted sizes of batteries
4. N95 masks
5. Raincoats
6. Boots
7. Blankets (regular / thermal)
8. Pillows and pillowcases
9. Sleep mats
10. Mosquito nets, coils, and repellents

Clothing

It gonna have rel games and bess prizes!
- Video Game tournament!
- A tournament for 5 different games where the team with the most points, win
- We also have chill games like foosball, table tennis, pool, old school arcade game, and even hilarious board games you and your friends and fam can play

You can make up a team of 4-6 players or if you cant make up the number and you wanna compete in the tournament, we can make up a team together with you and some youths that are around, no worries about being left out!

If this doesn't vibe with you, we have the individual games to play whatever you choose

This event has no age limit! Fun for all kids, youths, adults and families with flexible time frame

It also gonna have food! 🍟🍩

In response to the needs of the various communities that SOS serves, we are embarking on a school refurbishment project!

SOS is calling for volunteers to engage in this project at Siparia Road Presbyterian Primary School!
Date - August 10th, 2024
