Ashutosh is one among the 108 names of Lord Shiva. Ashutosh means one who fulfills the wishes of devotees without delay. It is believed that Lord Shiva is pleased with even the simplest of offering given with complete adulation.

Lord Shiva is depicted as kind and compassionate. Anyone who comes and prays to him gets his desires fulfilled. Shiva is Ashutosh to his devotees, one who is pleased and satisfied very easily and with very little. He needs no elaborate rituals. He can be easily pleased. A single drop of water offered devotionally is enough to please Mahadev.

Bel Patra, also known as Bilva leaf, is one of the six ritualistic essentials offered to Lord Shiva. Like Rudraksha, Bilva Patra is dearest to Mahadeva. In Shiva Puja, these leaves are offered unto Shivlinga along with the chanting of Mahamrityunjaya and other Shiva mantras.

The leaf being trifoliate represents the divine energies of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The Skanda Purana mentions that the sweat droplets of Goddess Parvati once fell on the Mandrachal Mountain and led to the growth of Bel or Bilva plant. It is believed that Shiva’s divine consort Parvati lives in the Bilva tree in all Her forms. She resides as Girija in the roots, as Maheshwari in the trunk, as Dakshayani in their branches, as Parvati in leaves, as Katyayani in its fruits and as Gauri in its flowers.

It is said the merit obtained through a thousand Yagya sacrifices can be obtained through offering Bilva Patras to a Shivlinga during Mahashivratri. 100 lotus flowers are equal to 1 Neel Kamal and 1000 Neel Kamals are equal to 1 Bel Patra. Thus, Bel Patra is the easiest way to please Lord Shiva. Even the most terrible karmic reactions are destroyed when you offer Bilva leaves to the Shivlinga.βœ¨πŸ•‰πŸƒπŸŒΌπŸŒˆπŸ‘πŸŒ·πŸ”πŸ‚πŸ”±πŸ’ŸπŸ’€πŸƒπŸŒ™πŸ“ΏβŒ›οΈπŸŒΊπŸ‚πŸπŸšπŸ”†πŸƒπŸŒ€πŸ””πŸŒˆπŸ‚πŸŒΈπŸŒ»πŸ”βœ¨

How to raise your vibration?

1- Gratitude to Raise Your Vibration.

Expressing gratitude instantly raises your vibration. Sometimes we get caught up in our day to day tasks and forget the many things that we should be grateful for. When you thank the universe, it will begin to help you manifest the things you want. It is highly recommended to start your prayers or manifestation thoughts with thanking the universe. It could be anything big or small. Thank you for another day. Thank you for protecting me today. Anything goes!

2- Nature to Raise Your Vibration.

Mother Earth is very powerful. She can help cleanse your energy while raising your vibration. Take the time to reconnect with nature. Enjoy a hike, take a dip in the ocean (if one is near you) or simply dig your bare toes into the dirt. Nature cleanses crystals of negative energy, it can do the same for you.

3- Music to Raise Your Vibration.

Listen to feel-good music. Think of the song that puts a smile on your face. Or makes you feel warm inside. Or makes you kick off your shoes to dance. Listen to it for instant vibrational lift.

4- Read a Book to Raise Your Vibration.

This is for the bookworms out there. Take the time to read a book. Fill your mind with positive words that will raise your vibration. Try a self help book, something that will ignite the passion within you.

5- Exercise to Raise Your Vibration.

It’s time to move that body! Working out releases endorphins into your body. These β€˜happy hormones’ give you a boost of happiness. Their main function is to relieve pain but has been linked to reducing anxiety and stress. Aren’t interested in a full body exercise? Just getting your body moving is a good start.

6- Meditation to Raise Your Vibration.

The benefits of meditation are long and wide. Meditation has been linked to reduce stress, promote emotional health, leads to less anxiety and depression. Meditating helps clear your mind and break through negative energy blocks that are fueling your limiting beliefs. A guided meditation is just the thing to raise your vibration permanently.

7- Self-Care to Raise Your Vibration.

Take some time to pamper yourself. The best gift we can give ourselves is showing love and appreciation to ourselves through self-care.

8- Do whatever makes you happy.

It’s that easy. Do whatever makes you happy. The thought is you raise your vibration when your energy is high. Cooking a meal? Gardening? Whatever it is, do that. ALSO , Raise the vibration in your home by decluttering.βœ¨πŸ•‰πŸƒπŸŒΌπŸŒˆπŸ‘πŸŒ·πŸ”πŸ‚πŸ”±πŸ’ŸπŸ’€πŸƒπŸŒ™πŸ“ΏβŒ›οΈπŸŒΊπŸ‚πŸπŸšπŸ”†πŸƒπŸŒ€πŸ””πŸŒˆπŸ‚πŸŒΈπŸŒ»πŸ”βœ¨

Being calm and peaceful when everything is calm and peaceful, has no meaning. When everything is absolutely fine and quiet, being peaceful has no meaning, but when everything is falling apart, then being quiet and peaceful has value.

A bottle of water has more worth in a desert than when you are surrounded by water. When you are sitting by a spring, then a bottle of water is of no value to you. One handful from the spring is good enough to quench your thirst.

When there is chaos and confusion; when there are problems all around you, then calmness is needed the most and wisdom is most valuable. When life is a challenge, that’s when all the skills are needed from within you.

When people blame you, when they don’t understand you, that’s when you need the inner strength to smile. When things don’t go the way you want them to, that’s when you need the endurance, the strength and. courage to remain unperturbed. What brings that courage in you is exactly what Krishna said: equanimity is the test of your yoga.

There is an incident about Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi’s life companion, Kasturba Gandhi, was on her deathbed. Doctors had given up hope. They said, β€œJust a few hours or minutes – that’s it, for her to live.” At that time, Mahtma Gandh told Pandit Sudhakar Chaturvedi, β€œRead that verse from Bhagwad Gita for me.”

When he recited the Gita, Gandhi said, β€œToday is my examination. I will know whether I will be able to handle the loss of Kasturba.” As he was saying this, tears rolled down his eyes. β€œWhether I am equanimous or not, today is the testing day.” Yoga brings that balance, so that an event doesn’t shatter you.

Just observe, how your mind goes, how it flares up, for nothing! How it creates a mess all around. One moment it’s high, another moment it’s down. Those who are not doing yoga are in a bipolar state. Yoga is the answer for these psychological troubles. Yoga is the equanimity that wells up in you, that comes up in you, stabilizes your consciousness . βœ¨πŸ•‰πŸƒπŸŒΌπŸŒˆπŸ‘πŸŒ·πŸ”πŸ‚πŸ”±πŸ’ŸπŸ’€πŸƒπŸŒ™πŸ“ΏβŒ›οΈπŸŒΊπŸ‚πŸπŸšπŸ”†πŸƒπŸŒ€πŸ””πŸŒˆπŸ‚πŸŒΈπŸŒ»πŸ”βœ¨

O Mother , Thee, who is present everywhere,
thee who is the embodiment of power and Energy!
I Bow to Thee! I Bow to Thee! I Bow to Thee!

Jai Maa Durga ~ Jai Maa Shakti! Worship Maa Durga wholeheartedly. Maa is symbol for courage, bravery and fighting bad things in the world. Maa Durga symbolizes the divine forces (positive energy) known as divine shakti (feminine energy/ power) that is used against the negative forces of evil and wickedness. She protects her devotees from evil powers and safeguards them.

Maa Durga is the goddess of power and strength. She is a multi-dimensional Goddess, with many names, many personas, and many facets. As Mahishasuramardini or Shakti, she is the destroyer of evil - with her ten mighty arms carrying lethal weapons she triumphantly slays the demon Mahishasura. As Sati, beloved daughter of King Daksha and Queen Menaka she gives up a kingdom and earns her father's wrath. As Kali, she turns black as the night and omnipotent, terrible in rage and fury, with just a string of skulls as her garland and her only garb.

As Parvati, she is serene, the pretty consort of Lord Shiva by his side in the snowy peaks of the Kailash mountain. She is Bhawani, symbol of life. She is Sati, the object of death. She is Basanti, the heralder of springtime. She is also Amba, Jagadhatri, Tara, Ambika, Annapurna. Worship her to remove all your obstacles of life.

Pray to Maa Durga, the Universal Mother, asking Her to use Her destructive power to remove the vices within us (anger, selfish desires, greed, ego and undue attachments), imperfections and faults; and purify us to become a receptacle of her Divine Shakti, Anandamayi Shakti. βœ¨πŸ‘πŸŒ·πŸ“ΏπŸ”±πŸ•‰πŸ’€πŸŒ€β€οΈπŸ””πŸπŸ”†πŸšπŸŒΊβŒ›οΈπŸ’–πŸŒ™πŸŒΏπŸŒ»πŸ™πŸ»βœ¨

Worshipping Lord Ganesha is believed to be the best way to destroy vanity, selfishness and pride. Ganesha is the representation of material universe in all its diverse and splendid manifestations.

An axe in the upper left hand of Lord Ganesha implies that one should cut worldly attachments. The lotus in the upper right hand entails that one should live without being affected by material emotions.

The life is full of conflict of choices; right and wrong, emotional and practicality etc. Ganeshas two tusks represent these two choices. The broken tusk teaches us to rise above odds and make right decisions in all ventures of life.

Ganesha Big belly is a symbolic representation of celebrating life. It teaches us to absorb all the good and bad in life and rise above them, no matter what the circumstances are.

If you ever try and notice the idol, you will see Modaks too. These are nothing but sweets, a form of reward (prashad) for spiritual pursuit.

Worshipping Lord Ganesha will devastate any kind of ego that may rule you. The mouse, which is believed to be the vehicle of Ganesha sits near the feet of Ganesha indicating that one will be a perfect person only if he can conquer ego. The mouse, who is better known as Ganesha’s carrier, represents a lot of human attributes.

First and foremost, it represents the desires we all our crowded with. It teaches us to control our desires or else they might end up destroying us. Ganesha, or god is the supreme power. The fact that a mouse is able to carry Ganesha everywhere teaches us to stay determined and overcome all the obstacles that we may come across in our lives.! βœ¨πŸŒˆβ˜€οΈπŸŒΈπŸ˜πŸŒ€πŸšπŸŒ»πŸ€πŸ•‰πŸ“ΏπŸƒπŸ‘πŸ””πŸŒ·πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ»β˜€οΈπŸŒˆβœ¨
