Today’s PCW Message Reflection on Rest — Matthew 11:25–30
In Gospel of Matthew 11:25–30, Jesus gives a comforting message about rest.
Life can feel heavy sometimes. We carry stress, worries, responsibilities, and even pain that others may not see. We try to handle everything on our own, but Jesus reminds us that we don’t have to.
He says, “Come to me.”
That means, you don’t have to fix everything first. You don’t have to be strong all the time. You just need to come as you are to Him.
Jesus also talks about taking His “yoke,” which means walking with Him and letting Him guide your life. It doesn’t mean life becomes easy, but it means you are not carrying your burdens alone anymore.
He is gentle and kind, not harsh or demanding. When you walk with Him: Your heart feels lighter. Your mind finds peace. Your soul finds rest
Rest is not about having no problems.
Rest is about having Jesus with you in your problems. So, if you feel tired, stressed, or overwhelmed today, remember this,
Jesus is saying to you, “Come to me.” And in Him, you will find rest.
