ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.”

It is with deep sadness that the executive and members of the Las Lomas #1 ASJA Masjid mourn the passing of our beloved former President, Haji Ezack Ali (Ishab).

Brother Ezack served the Masjid and wider community with dedication, humility, and sincerity over many years. His service and commitment to the House of Allah will always be remembered.

Janazah Details: • Date: Thursday 7th May, 2026
• Viewing at Residence: 11:30 AM
• Janazah / Funeral Prayer: 1:15 PM
• Location: Las Lomas #1, Chin Chin Road, Cunupia, opposite the RC School
• Burial: Monroe Road Muslim Cemetery

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Sherry, children, grandchildren, relatives, and loved ones during this difficult time.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, widen and illuminate his grave, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
We humbly ask the community to keep him and his family in your duas.

THE MAN WHOSE JANAZA WAS ATTENDED BY 70,000 ANGELS 🤍
(When the Throne of the Most Merciful Shook)

🕊 A Death That Shook the Heavens

When the great companion Sa’d ibn Mu’adh (رضي الله عنه) passed away…
something unimaginable happened.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The Throne of the Most Merciful shook at the death of Sa’d ibn Mu’adh.”
(Sahih Bukhari 3803, Sahih Muslim 2466)

Imagine…
a human being so beloved to Allah…
that the Arsh itself responded to his departure.

⚰️ The Light Casket:

As the Sahaba carried his body…
they noticed something strange.

Sa’d (RA) was a strong, heavy man…
yet his janaza felt incredibly light.

Almost as if it was being carried… effortlessly.

They mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ.

👼 The Unseen Guests:

The Prophet ﷺ replied:

“He has other carriers besides you.
Seventy thousand angels have descended…
who had never come to the earth before…
just to attend his janaza.”

The streets of Madinah were filled…
not just with people…

but with angels competing to carry him.

⏳ Only 6 Years:

Here is what should shake you…

Sa’d ibn Mu’adh (RA) was only Muslim for 6 years.

He accepted Islam at 31…
and returned to Allah at 37.

No lifetime of worship.
No decades of ibadah.

But a heart filled with sincerity.

💭 What Made Him So Special?

The moment he accepted Islam…
he stood before his entire tribe and said:

“I will not speak to any of you…
until you believe in Allah and His Messenger.”

By the end of that day…
his entire tribe accepted Islam.

No hesitation.
No compromise.
Just absolute conviction.

🌿 The Handkerchiefs of Jannah:

One day, a luxurious silk cloth was gifted to the Prophet ﷺ.
The Sahaba were amazed by its softness and beauty.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Are you amazed by this?
The handkerchiefs of Sa’d ibn Mu’adh in Paradise
are better and softer than this.”

Think about that…

Not his palace.
Not his مقام.

Even the handkerchiefs of Sa’d (RA) in Jannah…
are better than the finest luxury of this world.

Allah didn’t just honor him in death…
He honored him forever.

💭 The Lesson

1️⃣ Sincerity over Quantity
It’s not how long you live…
it’s how real you are with Allah.

2️⃣ Conviction
Sa’d didn’t negotiate his Deen…
he lived it fully.

3️⃣ The Unseen Honor
You may feel unnoticed here…
but you could be known in the heavens.

🤍 Final Reflection:

The Throne shook for him… What will happen when we leave?

Sa’d ibn Mu’adh (RA) shows us: You don’t need a lifetime…

You need a heart that truly belongs to Allah.

Faith rises with obedience and fades with heedlessness. Allah does not demand perfection, only return, especially when the heart feels distant and the nafs overwhelms us. His mercy is always open.

What a truly blessed evening it was! 💛 We gathered at Las Lomas #1 Masjid to celebrate and recognize the incredible dedication, hard work, and efforts of our young ones during the holy month of Ramadan — a month of reflection, worship, and growth.
Seeing our youth embrace the spirit of Ramadan with such sincerity and commitment is a reminder of the bright future of our Ummah. May Allah (SWT) accept their fasts, their prayers, and every effort they made in His name. 🤲Ameen
This event was a celebration of not just achievement, but of faith, discipline, and love for Allah — qualities that these young hearts have already begun to nurture, masha'Allah.
To every child, parent, teacher, and volunteer who made this possible — Jazakallah Khayran. Your support and encouragement make all the difference.
