Why did Dr. Matthew Monger left Christianity

There is no one definitive answer to the question of why Dr. Matthew Monger left Christianity. However, in a 2017 interview with The Guardian, he cited a number of factors that contributed to his decision, including:
His growing doubts about the historical accuracy of the Bible.
His discomfort with the Christian doctrine of hell.
His belief that Christianity is incompatible with scientific evidence.
His sense that the Christian church is too often hypocritical and corrupt.

Monger also acknowledged that his decision to leave Christianity was a difficult one, and that he still has many friends and family members who are Christian. However, he said that he is ultimately happier and more at peace with himself now that he is no longer a Christian.

Some History of the Trinity

The Trinity is a central Christian doctrine that affirms the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead. The doctrine of the Trinity has a complex history, with its origins dating back to the early Christian church. The teaching of the three Cappadocian theologians made it possible for the Council of Constantinople to affirm the divinity of the Holy Spirit in 381. The Holy Bible records the human race as starting with a belief in one God, that is, Monotheism, and that Polytheism was a later development. Many Christian apologists argue that the doctrine of the Trinity is biblical using different sorts of arguments.

Arguments for the trinity

There are several arguments for the Trinity, which is the belief that there is one God in three persons. One argument is that the three persons are each fully God and equally God, and not just parts of God. Another argument is that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct persons. A philosophical argument suggests that God is outwardly love, which entails a relationship between at least two persons, and therefore, the Trinity is necessary . The Trinity matters because it determines the kind of relationship we have with God.
