FAIR USE COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER
The copyright laws of the United States recognize a "fair use" of copyrighted materials under Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act. Section 107 states:
“Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright.”
As Covenant House of Praise, our Facebook livestreams may occasionally include copyrighted music or media that we do not own or have specific authorization to use. However, we believe in good faith that such use is protected under the Fair Use Doctrine, as our intention is solely for worship, teaching, education, and ministry purposes—not for commercial redistribution or profit.
If you are a copyright holder and believe your material has been used improperly, please contact us directly so we can promptly address the issue.
