Ganga Dhaaraa Teerath at the Marianne River, Blanchisseuse, was started in 1993 by the Hindu Prachaar Kendra, headed by Ravi Ji, for the celebration of the annual Ganga Dashahara Festival.

Ganga Dashahara Festival 2026 was a beautiful experience, a celebration of our very own flowing Ganga Maata present in Trinidad and Tobago.
This festival is truly a community festival, though hosted by the Hindu Prachaar Kendra TTfor the past 33 years, it is made possible by the dedication and devotion of so many other organisations that all come together in worship to the divine Mother.

Our Barber Avi's barber shop who facilitates the cutting and shaving of hair for babies at the Mundan Sanskaar Ghaat.

This festival cannot take place without our dedicated crew of hard workers who started preparing the site since Thursday the 21st and on whose labour we all depend, Prakash Ji, Sheldon, Narendra Maharaj and crew.
They were aided by transport for all materials up to the site in Blanchisseuse provided by D and N Group of Companies.

Our beautiful Ganga Maataa was lovingly made by Kevin Benny at Kabir Benny Murtis.

An ambulance on site was provided by the North Central Regional Health Authority
