We sincerely thank our Parish Priest for his leadership, guidance, and continued support of the youth. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to the youth patrons for the vital role they play in mentoring and supporting young people.

We commend the youth for their active and meaningful participation during the Holy Mass and the dialogue session that followed. Your commitment and enthusiasm are truly encouraging. We invite more young people to join, as the youth continue to play an active role in the life of the Church.

We are also grateful for the opportunity to share lunch together as refreshments, strengthening our spirit of unity and fellowship.

The youth is hereby informed and warmly invited to attend their first event of the year, titled “Priest–Youth Audience,” under the theme: “Connect and Create: Through Dialogue Between the Priest and the Youth.”

Please see the attached flyer for more details.

This is an opportunity for our parish priest to meet with the parish youth in a dialogue and discussion setting to engage meaningfully on youth matters, to reflect on the year ahead, and to develop plans and working strategies that will benefit both the youth and the parish at large.

The youth is kindly encouraged to participate fully in the Eucharistic celebration. As it will be a Youth Sunday, young people are invited to take part as members of the choir, lectors, ushers, and in the prayers of the faithful, and to bring gifts of the Altar for a procession. Let us make this day joyful, meaningful, and memorable.

Parents and guardians are humbly requested to allow and support their children to attend and actively participate in this second edition of the event.

Our parish youth gathered today for a beautiful end of year Mass and a joyful braai at St Anne’s Church, Dzabe. What a blessed and fulfilling way to close the year together as a community!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Parish Priest, Fr. Zweli Ngwenya for his unwavering support, guidance, and dedication to the youth ministry of our parish. His leadership continues to inspire us. We also thank the youth Patron for the love, encouragement, and constant guidance showed to the young people and appreciation goes to the youth leadership team for organising, planning, and coordinating this wonderful event. Their hard work made today a great success.

To all parents and guardians, thank you for allowing your children to attend and take part in this celebration. Your support keeps our youth ministry strong.

May God continue to bless our parish, strengthen our youth, and guide us into the coming year with renewed faith, joy, and unity!

On behalf of the parish, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made the Building Bridges Indaba a beautiful and spirit-filled success.

To our youth committee, thank you for your vision, commitment, and hard work in bringing this initiative to life. Your leadership is truly inspiring.

A special thank you to the parents and young people who served on the panel, your honesty, courage, and shared wisdom laid the foundation for meaningful dialogue and deeper understanding.

To the entire gathering of youth and parents who participated, your presence was a testament to our shared desire to grow together as a Church that listens, loves, and walks in unity.

We are especially grateful to our parish priest for giving the go-ahead and fully supporting this initiative. Your encouragement created the space for something truly special to happen.

A special dialogue titled Big Indaba, and themed: "Building Bridges" is coming soon, bringing together parents and young people in the spirit of the Synod and Jubilee of Hope. This is a powerful chance to listen, share, and grow together in faith.

We urge all parents to encourage their children to attend. The parents themselves are encouraged to attend, too. Let us make sure no one misses out on this opportunity to strengthen our families and our church.

Greetings to the Faithful!✨
Please receive the attached programme that clearly outlines the series of activities during the "Night Under the Stars" event organised by the youth, for the youth. It will be held tomorrow at St Mary's Parish Mission. We urge and plead with parents to kindly release the youth so that they join together for such a wonderful night long experience. The youth is the church today and we have to support them throughout. We further encourage the youth to ensure that they are warm enough to endure the prevailing weather conditions.
