For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (NIV):

"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."

SIC Maluth Local Church is deeply saddened by the passing of Pastor Awet Ahoch, who departed yesterday in Juba.
Our hearts are heavy as we share in this great loss.
Pastor Awet was a faithful servant of God whose life and ministry touched many souls. His dedication to the gospel and love for the church will always be remembered.
We extend our sincere condolences to his beloved family members, relatives, and the entire SIC family, especially Paloch SIC Local Church. May the Lord comfort each one of you and grant you peace during this difficult time.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant strength, comfort, and hope to all who mourn.
