Facilitator Profile: Elder Sam Sosten

We are honored to have Elder Sam Sosten as one of the facilitators for this seminar. He holds a Master of Human Resource Management from Liverpool John Moores University and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), United Kingdom.

Elder Sam Sosten brings with him a strong academic foundation combined with practical experience in human resource management, people development, and leadership. His expertise covers areas such as career development, workplace professionalism, interview preparation, and organizational effectiveness.

Beyond his professional qualifications, Elder Sam is also a committed church elder, passionate about mentoring youths and guiding them to align their careers, skills, and ambitions with Christian values. His approach blends professionalism, integrity, and faith, making his sessions both practical and spiritually enriching.

Participants can expect insightful, relevant, and motivating discussions that will equip them with skills for today’s competitive job market while encouraging a Christ-centered approach to work and life.

Ezekiel 36:26
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Reflection:
This verse reminds us that renewal doesn’t begin with our effort, but with God’s grace. A heart of stone forms through pain, fear, or disappointment but God promises transformation, not condemnation. A heart of flesh is tender again: able to feel, to love, to trust, and to respond. Renewal means allowing God to soften what life has hardened and to breathe new life where we thought change was no longer possible.

This is your time to rise above fear, laziness, and comparison. Don’t wait for perfect conditions to start start where you are, with what you have, and God will multiply your effort. Discipline will take you where motivation alone cannot. Stay committed to prayer, learning, hard work, and service.

The world needs young people who are skilled, faithful, courageous, and innovative. Be bold in faith, serious about your growth, and intentional about your future.

When you walk with God, no challenge is too big and no dream is too far.
