Breaking News: Mvolo Commissioner will attend the semifinals in Ibba, set for Friday.

The County Commissioner of Mvolo County, Rubben Amaai has confirmed that he will travel to Ibba on 8 January to attend the semifinal match scheduled for Friday, 9 January 2026, between Mvolo County and Winner 2.

This follows Mvolo County's victory over Ibba County in the quarterfinals played on 7 January, where Mvolo advanced after winning a penalty shootout following a draw at the end of the regulation 90 minutes.

With this win, Mvolo County is now the only team from the Eastern Counties still in the competition. The Mvolo County Commissioner has pledged strong support for the team, both financially and morally, ahead of Friday's semifinal clash.

The Ibba Day Inter-County Tournament has brought together all ten counties of Western Equatoria State. However, Mundri West, Mundri East, and Maridi counties from the Eastern bloc have been eliminated from the tournament.
