Anglican is a church of order !
Anglican Church has three orders, others are administrative offices
The three order are 1. Deacon 2. Priest and 3. Bishop..... Others are Administrative offices .
This order and Administrative office will be fully discussed in this article.
𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞
Who is a Primate?
The use of the title Primate in the context the Anglican Communion denotes the chief Archbishop or Bishop of a Province in the Anglican Episcopal family or church.
The “chief” designation is of great importance here and in some provinces such as Ireland and England. There are actually two Archbishop holding the title “Primate” the chief Archbishop of these two provinces becomes the “Primate of All” Ireland and the “Primate of All England”

𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩
An Archbishop is a bishop who preside over several dioceses in a large region.
This position includes some supervisory responsibilites over both dioceses and bishops in that region.
𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧
An Archdeacon is a member of the clergy who is appointed to assist the bishop in certain administrative and pastoral duties in a diocese.
An Archdeacon is preffered by the bishop of the diocese . For example, an archdeacon may have responsibility for a district comprising a group of parishes, and the archdeacon may represent the bishop at church meetings in that district (the district is usually called an ‘Archdeaconry’). Despite the name, there is now no direct connection with the order of deacon, and an archdeacon is generally one of the priests of a diocese. The position and title normally expires upon resignation or retirement, although certain retired archdeacons with long and faithful service might continue be called "Archdeacon" out of affection and respect.
𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝑨𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆s 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒏.
𝑩𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑
A Bishop is a member of clergy who has been commissioned to oversee the work of a group of congregations (Diocese) and the priests and deacons who serve them. That group of congregations is called a “diocese.” Only a bishop is authorized to ordain people in the order of deacon and priest. A bishop can also consecrate (ordain) another bishop, but must do so in the company with other bishops. A bishop must have been previously ordained as a priest.
In the Anglican church of Nigeria a bishop is autonomous in his diocese.
A Bishop is elected out of many clergy and bishop is not ordained but consecrated
𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏
The word can means law and it's of two categories 1. Honorary and 2. Statutory
Honorary Canon
“ honorary Canon” is an honorary title conferred upon a member of the clergy for faithful and valuable service to the church.
Statutory Canon Is also honorary title by the bishop, they are members of the clergy who were preferred by the Bishop for a faithful and valuable service in the church, but they have sit in the cathedral and a statutory Canon must preach in the cathedral once in a year
Lay canons
This are members of the congregation but appointed for faithful and valuable service to the church.
A Lay Canon shall seek to contribute to the corporate life of the Cathedral and to promote its mission and service in the Diocese
𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔𝒕
A priest is a member of clergy who has been commissioned to preside over some rites and gathered around the Lord’s Table (the Holy Communion), and to extend assurance of God’s forgiveness to those who truly repent of their sins. A person who is a priest should have been previously made deacon, and continue his deaconship till his ordained priest.
Recently in certain quarters the word “presbyter” has also begun to be used for this order (see glossary entry for presbyter).
𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒏
A Deacon is a member of clergy who has been commissioned to proclaim the Gospel, assist at the Holy Communion, and to call the church – by word and example – to its ministry of service and healing.
