Just a cut off section from the long story of Jonah which most of you might have read, Jonah wanted to justify his reasons for refusing to go to Neniweh. After accepting and going to Neniweh, to proclaimed God's warning to the King and his people there.

Jonah confidently went and sat outside the city under a tree to watch how God was going to destroy the city, but nothing happened. Jonah was angry with God and complained to God.

I know you were not going to destroy the City and that was why I didn't want to go there.

Do you see how we fall into this same reasoning with Jonah, when God asks us to preach his words to those who are living against His laws, against His will, but still these people prospers in their evil ways.

We therefore have the same feeling of Jonah in our heart. Then God answered Jonah, why should I destroy people that have repented from their sins? Has this also answered our complaints to God against those who are doing evil and we see them prospering in life better than us?

When you get sny single opportunity to minidter for God my brothers and sisters do it diligently, because a great reward is waiting for you on the day our master Jesus will appear in the skye it will be just a moment of reward receiving.

BE YOURSELF DO NOT PRETEND

Joshua 24:14-15 KJV
Now therefore fear the Lord , and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord . [15] And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord , choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord .

Joshua was himself he didn't worship the gods of the Amorists instead he rebuked the Israel's, today in the Christian journey we get lost on the way when we see our brothers, sisters stumble, we also stumbles. When we see a fellow Church member does something not biblical we also follow their footsteps. My bother and sister why can't you be your self. Salvation is very individual.

The bible says every one will be judged according to what you have done, there is no finger pointing that it was so and so who led me a stray. If this scripture passage is correct, then I want to say even if many live ungodly life, live Godly live. Even if you are left alone like Joshua to do the right and biblical rules, do it my brother or sister. Be different from wrong doings, be your self so long as you know what you are following is biblical and right before God. There is nothing new that you may think people have rediscovered from what you believed on, there is no change in the bible, the wards of the Lord remains as it is or was from the time you believed or read it. No change!

If you pick a piece of ordinary stone without colours from the ground begin to look at it for some time with keen focus, never turn your eyes from the stone, continue to look at the stone without turning away your eyes, you will realize that the stone has colour's, shining sort of things. Which is not true the stone remains the same....Pastor Blasius Ruguri..... That's how we look at things that are not biblical, the moment we pick one lifestyle and begin to analyse it looked at it keenly with much focus and interest, they begin to make sense in our eyes, they begin to look nice and right in our eyes. But the fact is that the lifestyle remain the same as it was before it never changed.

Do not pretend and never follow others in doing things that are not glorifying your heavenly Father, even if they are done by people you think are stronger then you in faith, by pastors, by elders do not just follow in doing something you know is not right biblical. But like Joshua I quote " but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord" God bless you as you try to be your self and not some body else in Jesus name Amen.

If we can think of God often like this and bring God in the center of our appreciation and thanks giving, then like Hannah in the old testament, we shall receive back more blessing from God. Hannah requested only for one child, and she promise to dedicate the child back to God. That child was Samuel, God added more other six children to Hannah of which she didn't ask God for them.

If you are struggling in life to lift a baby like this in your marriage, try God like Hannah, God will bless you with the children you need.
