THE BEAUTY OF HEAVEN

(The Holy Spirit: An Awesome Personality)

TO THE BIBLE:
John 14:16 AMPC
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever.”

LET’S TALK

The Holy Spirit is not a smoke or cloud, nor is He a light; He is not a thing! The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead. He is the last of the Trinity to be known by us. In Genesis 1:1, God was introduced to us as “Elohim”(Hebrew), which is plural for God. Then, in the second verse, we are told that “the Spirit of God moved over the face of the deep.”

Thus, even tough the Holy Spirit is the first to be revealed from “Elohim,” He is the last that we become acquainted with, as Jesus explained to His disciples in John 14:16-17: “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”

The Holy Spirit is exactly like Jesus. He does not receive power from God; in fact, He is the power of God! He is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father. He is not less than the Father, nor is He less than Jesus. If you were to go to heaven, you would not find the Holy Spirit outside the Father, for He is in the Father. On earth, His presence is everywhere! Wherever you go as a child of God, the Holy Spirit goes with you, and His presence rubs off on everything connected with you. He does not have a different name; “Holy Ghost” or “Holy Spirit”* is a description of His person and character

Jesus said, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name...” (John 14:26). This simply implies that although the Holy Spirit has no name of His own, He answers to the name of Jesus. There are so many things to learn about this awesome Personality! He is the Beauty of heaven—our Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby. Hallelujah!

*DISTINGUISHED BY EXCELLENCE*

_(Be A Tree Bearing Excellent Fruits)_

*TO THE BIBLE:*
*Daniel 6:3*
_“Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.”_

*LET’S TALK*

Jonathan and Priscilla were extraordinary twins, each possessing their own unique talents and abilities. They stood out from the crowd in every aspect of their lives, whether it was their unwavering commitment to academic excellence, their prowess in sports, or their dedication to part-time jobs outside of school. What set them apart for excellence was no secret at all; they wholeheartedly relied on the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit.

The day you received the Holy Spirit into your life, the excellent Spirit came to live in you. This excellent Spirit is manifested in you when you choose to let Him have His way in your life and when you accept the Scriptures as His perfect will and live accordingly. You’ll suddenly discover that everyone will be esteemed in your eyes. When you’re awakened to this truth, everything about you becomes top class; your life becomes an expression of the perfections of Christ.

Daniel excelled above the presidents and satraps because he had an excellent spirit. The others saw that the king was always favourable towards Daniel, and it hurt them, so they conspired against him out of bitterness. When people who don’t have an excellent spirit see others being praised, promoted, and commended, they get hurt. In Matthew 7:18, the Lord Jesus said, *“A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration]”* (AMPC).

Notice how He described an excellent fruit; He said it’s worthy of admiration. That’s amazing! What’s your life like? Is it worthy of admiration? If everyone turned out like you, would you be happy? If people behaved towards you the way you behave towards others, would you like it?

Let your life be a manifestation of the Spirit of excellence in you. Tower above envy, bitterness, anger, and all the negativities of life because you’re an excellent tree bearing excellent fruits.

_Dear Father, I thank you for the special ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life today; you’ve given me an excellent spirit that produces in me an excellent character. Therefore, bitterness, anger and envy have no place in my life. Christ’s nature of excellence is manifested in me, and evident in my walk, talk, and everything I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

When you walk in the Spirit, you see the glory of God, His light, His beauty. You see things from God’s perspective. But when your spirit is not walking in the light of God, you will see what darkness shows you and what your senses perceive. That’s what happened to Adam in the garden

WALK IN THE SPIRIT
(It’s Normal To Walk In The Spirit Every Day)

📖TO THE BIBLE Galatians 5:25 “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

Our normal life in Christianity is to walk in the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit means walking by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). It means our focus is always on what the Word says, not on circumstances or feelings, and not on what our senses tell us. When the first man Adam committed high treason in the Garden of Eden, his spirit became subject to his senses. In other words, his spirit fell. Before that, his knowledge was spiritual, but through his disobedience to God, he became subject to his senses, which was what God warned him about (Genesis 2:17). This was spiritual death

07/09/2023

If you walk in the Spirit, you will see that you have authority over the elements, failures, frustrations, darkness, and corruption in this physical world. You will see that you live in and are from another realm, a heavenly realm that is greater than this world. Hallelujah!

07/09/2023

Romans 9:8 says, “…Those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.” The children of the flesh are those who are ruled by their senses. But thanks be to
God, your ties with the first Adam have been completely and forever severed. You are born of the Lord from heaven and should walk accordingly, in and by the Spirit

07/09/2023

Man ate from the tree and died. He was instantly separated from God. Adam, who once loved to be in the presence of God, hid himself from that same presence after his disobedience (Genesis 3:9-11). God is life, and when a man is separated from Him, he can no longer see the things that God sees or the glory of God. That’s why Adam saw himself as naked afterwards.

WE ARE DIVINE BEINGS
(The Christian Is No Ordinary Human Being)

WE ARE DIVINE BEINGS
(The Christian Is No Ordinary Human Being)

TO THE BIBLE Acts 14:11 NIV
“When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in human form!””

LET’S TALK⏭
The Bible recounts an inspiring story in Lystra where Paul performed a miraculous healing on a man who had been lame since birth. Witnessing this incredible act, the crowd became overwhelmed and began to call Paul and Barnabas gods. They were on the verge of worshipping them when Paul and Barnabas swiftly intervened, speaking urgently to the crowd, “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them” (Acts 14:15 NIV).

At this point in their lives, the apostles thought they were mere humans; they said so and thought so. They said, “Look, we’re humans just like you.” Their humility was right, but their answer was wrong. They were supposed to say to the people, “Don’t worship us. This is the message we’ve brought to you: that you also have the potential to become gods if you believe in Jesus.” The people found out who these men really were. They discovered the men weren’t humans; they were gods in the form of men, and they were right.

The Bible says, “I said, “You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High”” (Psalm 82:6). Yet you hear some Christians say, “We’re just ordinary people.” They think talking that way makes them humble. No! It just shows how ignorant they are. We were ordinary until we were born again. Now that we’re born again, we’ve become the place where God lives. Each one of us is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the creator of the entire universe, lives in you! Your body is His living tabernacle. This is a reality, and it has to come into your consciousness. You have to think this way!

Until you become conscious of it, the power within you won’t work for you. Never again say, “I’m just an ordinary human being.” When you believed in Jesus Christ, you became a God- man, an associate of the God-kind. You were literally born of God. You’re actually a supernatural being. God made you exactly like Himself: “...As He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). You have the life and nature of God now. Hallelujah!

JESUS, OUR WONDERFUL
COUNSELLOR

(The Four Titles Of Jesus)

📖TO THE BIBLE:Isaiah 9:6 RSV

“...His name will be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.””

LET’S TALK⏭
Our opening verse is a profound revelation given to Prophet Isaiah by God Almighty. God graciously
reveals the coming of a child and discloses a list of names by which He shall be called. First and foremost is the title “Wonderful Counsellor,” which, in the original Hebrew text, means “Extraordinary Strategist.” This reveals to us the ministry of the Holy Spirit, as shown in John 14:16 AMPC.

In the grand tapestry of God’s prophetic plan, we witness this child, born into the world, maturing into a son, and ultimately facing death. However, the story doesn’t end there. After His death, burial, and resurrection, He comes to minister to us throughout the Church Age. How, you may ask? By the Holy Spirit, the extraordinary counsellor, who is our strategic guide, helping us win in life.

At the end of the Church Age, the Lord Jesus returns to deliver Israel as the “Mighty God”: “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13). During the Armageddon, Israel becomes the battlefront. The Jews go through the Great Tribulation, and many flee from the Antichrist in terror. However, the Lord Jesus emerges from heaven with a great army of saints and powerfully delivers Israel, taking action against the Antichrist and all of God’s enemies.

The next thing Israel experiences from Jesus is the “Everlasting Father.” Though they’ve rejected Him for 2,000 years and haven’t believed in Him, they suddenly realise that He’s the One who delivered them from the Antichrist. They come to Him, crying out, “He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities... As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him” (Psalm 103:10-13).

Finally, He is called the “Prince of Peace.” After delivering Israel and opening His arms to receive them, He establishes His Kingdom for 1,000 years of peace, during which we will reign with Him over the nations of the earth (Revelation 20:4-6).

These events I speak of are not so far away. The first one, where Christ is manifested to the Church through the Holy Spirit, has been ongoing for nearly 2,000 years and is approaching its climax. The Rapture is not far away. Therefore, live your life in preparation for the Master’s soon return.
