The Youth of St. Stephen's Parish - Liith Anguei comfort the family of the bereaved by cultivating their farm.

Yesterday on the 18th of May 2026, the youth of St. Stephen's Parish had gathered in a large number for supporting the bereaved family of Late Mama Elizabeth Adut Kuol Athuol by cultivating their garden.

This is in light of what the Bible told us in the book of Galatians 6:2
"Carry each otherโ€™s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

The bereaved family were very excited for the great support of Christ's love that was rendered to them by the youth of St. Stephen's Parish Liith Anguei of Yargot Archdeaconry under the Episcopal Diocese of Wanyjok.

Mama Elizabeth passed to the lord on Wednesday the 8th of May 2026 due to short illness at her house in Atuekcok of Yargot Payam.
She was a very committed Christian and a mother serving at St. Stephen's Parish Liith Anguei.

The funeral was conducted on Saturday the 16th of May 2026 at her family house in Atuekcok where the Rural Dean of Akuem Deanery Rev. Peter Adhal comfort the mourners with the word of God from the Gospel of John 11:25-26 where the Bible says, "Jesus said to her, I'm the resurrection and the life. He who believe in me will live, even though he dies"

They were joined by Revd Philip Makuach Majur, True Church of God TCG, Revd James Rual Dut of Christ Saviour.

Finally the Episcopal Diocese of Wanyjok continue to pray for the family of Mama Elizabeth so that they find solace in the lord Almighty.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit AMEN.

THE BISHOP OF WANYJOK DIOCESE, ECSS CALL FOR PEACE AND UNITY ACROSS THE NATION AND REGIONS CENTRES.

WEDNESDAY, 13th MAY 2026 - Bishop Joseph Mameer appealed to the Government of South Sudan to prioritise peace over division and love over hatred.

His calls remain as appeal for the welfare of citizens within the country and abroad to have a new dawn after the journey of desperation.

The Right Reverend, has a call for the churches to preach love and God's kingdom rather than promoting self pride, hatred amongst Christians and false doctrines in the temple of worship.

He emphasizes for Christians to be peace makers who reconcile the people and they should be called the children of God.

We are still carrying on the covering of the church Temple with grass sheets.
The other remaining parts will be done as soon as possible by God's help.
Christians of the St. Stephen's Parish ECSS, are glad to see their Temple renewed and requested you dear friends, brothers and sisters in Christ to contribute your prayers for the remaining parts to complete due to the financial issues. We have tried very hard to complete it but stacked at the edge.
We thank God for the great work done.โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ™
