is not for everyone but church building is for anyone
1, Is for those appointed by God
How shall they preach unless they are sent? (Romans 10:15)
Preaching requires a divine calling and commissioning, not just a desire or agenda.
2, Preachers must rightly handle the word of God
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
Understanding and accurately teaching the gospel is essential; ignorance leads to false teaching.
3, The message must be edifying, not divisive or hateful
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification... (Ephesians 4:29)
The pulpit is a place for building up the church, not tearing down or spreading hatred.
4, Speakers must be spiritually mature and sober-minded
Not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. (1 Timothy 3:6)
Maturity protects against error and arrogance in preaching.
5,The pulpit is not a platform for political agendas or personal gain
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord. (2 Corinthians 4:5)
The focus must be on Christ and salvation, not on advancing political ambitions or personal opinions.
6, Preachers must be examples in word and conduct
Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. (1 Timothy 5:17)
Integrity and godly living are crucial for those who teach publicly in the church.
7, False teachers and those who cause divisions must be avoided
But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition. (Titus 3:9-10)
The pulpit should not be given to those who stir strife or confusion.
