The Effect of the Word of God in Parenting
As a parent, the Word of God is the most powerful tool you can rely on. No one can successfully raise a child or children outside the Word and God’s purpose. Parenting must be done purposefully and not half-heartedly if you desire success.
Every parent must know God personally and understand His covenant concerning His heritage. Undertaking the ministry of parenting without knowledge of the Word of God can be frustrating.
Your authority as a parent stems from the Word of God, and you need to know that Word in order to exercise your authority responsibly in molding your child or children. A conscientious parent must instill godly values and ensure that the worldview of their children is shaped by the Word of God.
