“There was not enough room to receive Him.”
How quietly tragic those words are—and how searching. The world was busy when the Savior came, full of noise and notice for everything except the very Son of God. Yet He came anyway, meek and lowly, asking not for grandeur but for hearts willing to receive Him. In our own crowded lives, may we gently lay aside pride, distraction, and fear, and prepare room for Him—room for His light, His mercy, and His redeeming love. For when we make room for Jesus Christ, He does not merely enter our lives; He changes them.
