VICTORY YOUTHS FOR CHRIST COMMISSION (VYFCC)
VICTORY EVANGELISTIC MINISTRIES - ALLENTOWN
28/10/2024
To the glory of God Almighty, on the 27th of October, 2024, the VYFCC held their Express program at the Victory Evangelistic Ministries.
The program lasted for two hours and featured three wonderful speakers who analyzed the topic: "AMBASSADORS OF HEAVEN." Utilizing several Biblical scriptures, including 2 Corinthians 5:20, Romans 8:14, Genesis 1:27, 1 Peter 2:9, and Revelation 1:6, the speakers provided a thorough discussion on the topic.
Brother Joseph Conteh invoked Scripture from 2 Corinthians 5:20 to enlighten the congregation that to be an ambassador of Christ, we must understand that we no longer live for ourselves but for Jesus Christ, who died for us and rose again. He highlighted that if anyone is in Christ, then the old has gone, and the new is here. God has reconciled us to Himself. Brother Conteh further explained that our ambassadorial role as children of God is the Ministry of Reconciliation.
The second speaker, Mrs. Mariam Bah spoke effectively about the qualities of an ambassador of Heaven. Through Romans 8:14, she explained that we must strive to be led by the Spirit of God and ultimately live as true children of God. Living as true children of God requires us to repent from our sins and lead a life fully dedicated to Christ. We should ensure we serve as good examples in our communities, being Christians not only on Sundays but throughout the entire week, 24/7.
Finally, Brother Nathaniel Koroma made a case for the church to serve as a place where youths can realize their God-given abilities rather than be discouraged. He noted that many youths are caught up in worldly pursuits because “the world” has infiltrated the church. Therefore, it is essential to restore sanity within the church and prohibit immoral in the church.
