TOPIC: THE REALITY OF THE WORD

*Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

There can be no salvation outside the gospel of Christ. That is, the ability of God to save is in the gospel only.

*1st Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

It is also vital for every believer to know what is needed after salvation.

The plan of God in the earth for every
man is twofold:

✓ To be saved (Mark 16:15 - 18), and then

✓to come to the knowledge of the truth
(Matthew 28:18- 20).

*WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?*

Therefore, the gospel is the message of God's grace; it demonstrates the love of God, his actions through Christ
Jesus to us.

This message of grace is the death, burial and
resurrection of Jesus for sin and it is received by faith.

Salvation is through faith in the gospel, it requires no man's work or effort, because it is the gift of God.

Salvation is to confess with your mouth and to believe in your heart that God raised Christ from the dead.
