VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - (VBS)

What is VBS?
VBS is an outreach program meant to bring in children who don't normally attend church and to teach them the gospel.

The main purpose of VBS is to minister to children in the church, create an outreach to the surrounding communities and to create evangelistic opportunities.

It is a fun filled program many churches offer to connect with the children and families in their communities.

As an evangelistic tool, VBS helps churches fulfill the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19.

A week of VBS usually includes games, crafts, skits, snacks and of course Bible lessons.

There's always a connection between God and the theme - allowing kids to discover God in a creative way.

VBS is however is less like a school and more like a camp with fun and very interactive learning.

The theme for this year is -

Heroes: Making a Big Difference in Small Ways.
