Bo Coordinating Council YSA Summit held at the Galliness Paradise hotel
The Young Single Adults Summit was successfully held with the participation of Young Single Adults from multiple Stakes and districts within the coordinating council. The summit was organized to strengthen spiritual growth, encourage unity, and provide guidance on education, career development, and personal preparation for future responsibilities in the Church and society.
The program brought together YSAs from different backgrounds, creating an atmosphere of fellowship, learning, and shared purpose. Participants engaged in spiritual instruction, inspirational messages, and practical teachings designed to help them become more grounded disciples of Jesus Christ while also preparing for self-reliance and career advancement.
During the summit, several instructors and invited facilitators played key roles in delivering meaningful presentations. Representatives from the Seminary and Institute of Religion conducted a PowerPoint presentation on the importance of religious education. They emphasized how consistent participation in seminary and institute programs helps Young Single Adults strengthen their testimonies, deepen their understanding of the gospel, and remain spiritually anchored during this important stage of life. The presentation encouraged YSAs to take advantage of available religious education opportunities as a foundation for lifelong discipleship.
The BYU–Pathway Worldwide team also delivered a presentation focused on education and career development. They taught participants about available opportunities for higher education, skill development, and self-reliance through the BYU–Pathway program. The facilitators highlighted how Young Single Adults can pursue academic and professional goals while maintaining strong spiritual values, and they encouraged participants to plan wisely for their future.
The summit officially commenced with a welcoming address from the host Stake President. In his remarks, he warmly welcomed all participants from the various Stakes and districts, expressed appreciation for the unity and collaboration among Church leaders and YSAs, and outlined the purpose of the summit. He officially declared the YSA Summit open and encouraged participants to be attentive, prayerful, and fully engaged throughout the program.
The climax of the summit was a powerful and inspiring message delivered by the Chairman of the Bo Coordinating Council, Elder Kenneth Pambu, who serves as an Area Seventy. In his address, Elder Pambu counseled the Young Single Adults on the importance of spiritual growth, personal discipline, unity, and preparation for future responsibilities in the Church, family, and society. He emphasized living purpose-driven lives centered on Jesus Christ and reminded participants of their divine potential and role as future leaders. His message left a lasting spiritual impact on the participants and reinforced the overall purpose of the summit.
Overall, the Young Single Adults Summit was spiritually uplifting, well-coordinated, and impactful. It strengthened unity among YSAs across multiple Stakes and districts, provided valuable instruction in both spiritual and career development, and reinforced the importance of preparation, discipleship, and self-reliance. The summit achieved its intended objectives and was a meaningful experience for all who attended.
