They support the parish priest by managing the practical, logistical, and administrative operations of the church so the clergy can focus on their spiritual and pastoral duties.Wardens handle a variety of functions vital to parish life:Liturgy & Hospitality: Welcoming and ushering parishioners, managing seating, directing the orderly flow of the congregation during Communion, and managing offertory collections.Safety & Order: Maintaining peace, decorum, and reverence during services and church events.Administration: Assisting the pastor with practical and financial administration, such as overseeing church properties, managing facility upkeep, and coordinating the church car park.Community Support: Helping organize parish activities, feast day celebrations, and other outreach efforts.
