Started in 2015, Geylang Serai Heritage Trail showcase 3 routes of historical sites, places of worship & local famous food stalls in Geylang & Joo Chiat.

Learn about the heritage, culture & stories as you walk & explore these sites in the Started in 2015, the Geylang Serai Heritage Trail covers a large area, from the west side Lorong 22 Geylang to the east side Eunos Crescent/Joo Chiat Road and from the north side Sims Avenue to the South side Dunman Road. The 3 walking Trails let you explore the various historical buildings and r

eligious places of worship, including churches, temples & mosques, representing the religious harmony that Singapore enjoys as a multi-racial, multi-cultural country. This is Uniquely Singapore, Uniquely Vibrant Geylang Serai - Heritage in Harmony. In this Geylang Serai Heritage Trail, famous food stalls from Geylang Road to Haig Road & Eunos Crescent Food Centres selling local delicious delicacies are also featured.

Geylang Serai Heritage Trail 1 guided walk for 27 residents from Tai Keng Gardens. We started at 顺天宫Lorong 29 Geylang, visited Khadijah Mosque, walked along the Geylang back alleys and ended at 1 Lorong 18 Geylang, visited 茶阳客家文物馆，大埔客聚楼 Char Yong Dabu Association, Singapore

台湾国立阳明交通大学学生团8月17,19日拜访茶阳大埔会馆客聚楼，客家文物馆，客家文化研究中心，图书馆，访问文物馆主任李宏斌楼，客语班黄丽芬，黄进辉老师，客韵团团长李荣德老师，参加茶阳会馆客韵团歌唱彩排和排舞活动。他们也参观了丰永大公会三邑祠和三邑楼。

Geylang Serai Heritage Trail 1 walk with 7 American & Canadian visitors. We walked from Geylang Lorongs 25 to 22 to 18, and visited the new Char Yong Dabu Hakka Building and Heritage Gallery.

Last week 5 July, we had the Hakka Cultural Tour for >150 China, Malaysia visitors. In 3 buses they visited 1st venue Char Yong Dabu Association, Singapore, Dabu Hakka Building 大埔客聚楼文物馆 Heritage gallery, 2nd stop 望海大伯宫福德祠at 50H Palmer Road and final site at丰永大公会三邑祠 at 33 Holland Link. At the same time we hosted a Lunch for 130 overseas and local performers in the level 2 MPH.

Throwback to 3 July 2026, Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information, officiated as GOH for the Grand Opening ceremony at Char Yong Dabu Hakka Building 茶阳客聚楼 plus celebration of Char Yong Dabu Association, Singapore’s 168th Anniversary 茶阳大埔会馆 168周年庆典. On the same day, we had >300 guests visited the Char Yong Hakka Heritage Gallery at level 1.
