St Elizabeth of Hungary Fraternity, together with fellow Secular Franciscans and friends, joyfully celebrated the spirit of Christmas singing carols with residents at a nursing home. Together as one fraternity family, adults and children alike, we shared laughter and moments of Yuletide joy🎄

“Be praised, O Lord, for blessing the Secular Franciscan Order with new professed members—Angelo, Jeremy, Pauline, Ritcheil, and Gaily—from the St Margaret of Cortona Fraternity.

They have responded to the call to live the Gospel and bring the Gospel to life, following Christ in the footsteps of St Francis and guided by the inspiration of St Clare.

We pray that they deepen their faith, enkindle in them the desire for God and grant them the graces they need to live this life in the spirit of St Francis. “

Congratulations Ignatius!

With great joy we celebrate Ignatius as he makes his profession into the Secular Franciscan Order with the St Clare Fraternity on 29 Nov 2025

Through the Divine Grace of God, he has responded to the call to live the Gospel in the spirit of St Francis - embracing a life of prayer, simplicity, humility and loving service.

We give thanks for his generous YES and pray that God's grace will continue to guide and strengthen him each day.. May the Lord bless you and keep you in your Franciscan journey 🙏💫🕊️✨️

On 3 December, 5 members of St Joseph Fraternity, in conjunction with the Jubilee Year, took a 5km pilgrimage walk to the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd via the Church of St Alphonsus, Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, St Joseph’s Church and Church of Sts Peter & Paul.

It was a prayerful and grace-filled journey. Despite the weather forecast of rain, these pilgrims of hope were blessed with the kind shade of cloudy skies and pleasant breeze during the entire journey. It ended at the Crossings Cafe at CANA The Catholic Centre, where, joined by another 4 members, they celebrated the anniversary of their Fraternity with a sumptuous meal and great fellowship!

Called to a new way of living the Gospel life with greater fervour and love for all 🥰.

It was a blessed day filled with the grace of God for Lillian (from St Joseph Fraternity) and Nicholas, Geraldine, Martina and Florence (from St Elizabeth Fraternity), as they celebrated their profession into the Secular Franciscan Order. A day of blessings (4 October 2025) shared on the Feast of St Francis of Assisi 😇

“Praise be You, my Lord, with all Your creatures!” 🪴☀️🌛🐟🐄

Our Professed members and Candidates joined the Celebration of the Canticle of Creatures in D**g Nai Province, Vietnam, organized by CCFMC in honor of the the centenary of St. Francis’ Canticle of Creatures.

This gathering calls for a radical change in our relationship with creation:
🌱 From ruling over creation to being its stewards.
🌍 From possessing to caring for our common home.
🤝 From living apart to living in fraternity with all creation.

It is a living invitation to embrace Laudato Si’ in our daily lives.

St Joseph Fraternity had their Day of Recollection last weekend, led by their Spiritual Director, Friar Peter Michael.
The theme of the DOR was “Mirrors of Divine, Within and Around”.

The day was also marked by a joyous occasion as four members began their Candidacy to the Secular Franciscan order.

They closed the day with a celebration of the Holy Mass, giving thanks to God for His Love and Graces.

🎊*What a Blessed Day!*🎊

Yesterday, 14 Sep 25, we had our OFS vocation promotion from St Clare Fraternity at Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea and we are so grateful for the wonderful response!

It was heartwarming to meet parishoners who are genuinely interested in learning more about living the Gospel in the spirit of St Francis of Assisi.

Thank you to everyone who had stopped by our booth n took the time to chat with us. Your openness n curiosity truly touched our hearts 💕

For those who expressed interest- we look forward to welcoming you this Sunday to observe n learn more about our Franciscan journey together 🙏

Sharing the meaning of the Tau cross often associated with the Franciscan order:
The Tau cross, resembling the letter "T", is a significant symbol in Franciscan spirituality, representing conversion, service, and the call to live a life of simplicity and humility, inspired by St. Francis of Assisi. It signifies a turning away from sin and towards God, a continuous journey of spiritual renewal and a commitment to serving others.

Earth is our only home, let us protect it together!🌎 Members of St Elizabeth started our monthly hour of reflection together on the encyclical letter, Laudato Si. Each session ends with a call to action that we can do as a fraternity. We hope our sharings and reflections will transform the way we think and act, as we deepen our understanding on caring for our common home 🪴
