Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church’s understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture. Revision of these statements may be expected at a General Conference session when the church is led by the Holy Spirit to a fuller understanding of Bible truth or finds better language in which to express the teachings of God’s Holy Word.

Congratulations to Bro Rafael Mantos on your baptism, and to Bro Anthony Chua on your rebaptism. Today marks a significant milestone in your spiritual journey as you publicly declare your decision to accept, follow, and serve Jesus Christ with all your heart.

Baptism and rebaptism are beautiful expressions of faith, commitment, and surrender to God. Through this sacred act, you affirm your desire to walk closely with Jesus, to live according to His teachings, and to dedicate your lives to His service. Your decision is a testimony of God’s grace and His transforming power at work in your lives.

The Bible tells us that all of Heaven rejoices when even one soul turns to Christ and accepts Him as personal Saviour. Today, Heaven rejoices as both of you make this meaningful commitment to the Lord. Your decision brings joy to the angels, encouragement to the church family, and glory to God.

As you continue your journey with Christ, may your knowledge of God’s Word increase daily. May your faith grow stronger through prayer, Bible study, and obedience to His will. As you learn more about Jesus and experience His presence in your daily lives, may you discover ever more deeply His love, mercy, guidance, and peace.

There will be many opportunities to serve God and be a blessing to others. May the Holy Spirit empower you to be faithful witnesses for Christ, shining His light wherever you go. May your lives reflect His character, and may your words and actions lead others to know the joy of salvation found in Him.

Bro Rafael Mantos and Bro Anthony Chua, may the Lord richly bless you as you continue to walk with Him. May your commitment remain steadfast, your faith unwavering, and your love for Jesus ever growing. May each day bring new experiences of His grace and goodness as you journey with Him until the day He returns.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6

May God bless you abundantly and keep you in His loving care always. Amen.

Today, the Maranatha Elderly Ministry visited Anna Choe at the nursing home.

We are thankful to report that she is generally well, strong, and happy in spirit. Her overall physical health remains stable and reassuring. However, her legs have become weaker, and she now requires a little assistance when standing.

She is living with advanced dementia and is currently unable to recognise people or communicate as she once did. Nevertheless, she appears comfortable and is well cared for.

We give thanks to God for His continual protection and providence over her life and physical well-being.

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. -

I’m deeply thankful to the Maranatha Women Ministry and the Maranatha Elderly Ministry for taking the time to visit my dad and mum at their home.

A heartfelt thank you to Sisters Jenny Lai, Susan Abuto, and Uncle Swee Leng for your warm visit, kind fellowship, and loving care.

Your presence brought joy, comfort, and encouragement to our family. We truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and the spirit of love you shared.

Thank you and God bless you abundantly.

Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year brought me to the warm and welcoming home of Makcik Mahhizon.

She looked well, cheerful, and happy to see us.

There was a brightness in her smile that spoke of strength, resilience, and quiet gratitude. It was especially heartening to learn that despite the passing years, she had faithfully observed her fasting throughout the month of Ramadan.

In her presence, one is reminded that true vitality is not merely about age, but about faith, discipline, and a thankful heart.

Her home, filled with the warmth of Hari Raya hospitality, reflected the same grace she carries within her.

We left with hearts full — grateful for the visit, uplifted by her condition, and hopeful that she will be blessed with many more healthy, joyful years ahead.

May her days continue to be surrounded by love, peace, and good health.
