“‘Pastor Lau Guerra shared in his sermon how he told God: please resurrect my daughter. If you resurrect her, I will serve you. If you don’t answer, I will continue to serve you’.
This touched my heart so strongly that I cried as I was in the interpreter booth because it’s what I went through. My daughter passed away, and I asked God many times to give her back, and to resurrect her to life. But if God does not do it, I will still serve Him. If He does it, I will also continue to serve God the same, and give glory to His name.
I thank God - even though He didn’t answer my prayer, I still want to serve God, to love God and to be a faithful servant of God as a pastor. There are sometimes where I may love something else more than God- like my family, beauty, or position. I need to break down and clear out all fleshly desires because God is not pleased with me if I love something else more than Him. God changed my heart, and convicted me again to follow Him, love Him, and put Him first more than anything else.”
