It is a common assumption that science and Christianity are in conflict.
Voices like Richard Dawkins argue that religious faith silences reason and discourages questioning. But history tells a very different story.
In this upcoming Emmaus Conversation session, we will explore how Christianity provided the intellectual foundations for science, including:
• The Triune God (one and many) as the foundation for mathematics, logic, and scientific reasoning
• Why the nature of scientific laws depends on the nature of God
• Van Til’s distinction between “counting” and “accounting”
• The impossibility of the contrary is the only possible proof of the existence of the Triune God
If faith and science are not enemies, what does that mean for how we think, study, and live today?
