Sustaining Race is Possible through the Sustaining Grace of Jesus Christ.๐๐ผโฅ๏ธ
Hope as a Family
We've been part of this family for 11 years now. Our journey started by attending in Lifegroups in Singapore back in 2010. By the time we went back to the Philippines in 2012, we accepted the challenge to do the mission in Hope Pangasinan. This family embraced and accepted us for who we are including our strengths and even our weaknesses. They never judged us but instead they've served as our guidance to the will and ways of God. They have seen the potentials in us and motivated us to do more and to extend the love of God to other people.
Hope as a Church
This Church is a manifestation of God's Grace and Goodness to all of us. We were guided to seek God in a deeper way and to be used by God by serving Him in different ways including the Mission Field. They're willing to equip us to make us more effective in reaching to other people and molded us from nothing into something. They also helped us understand our purpose in life and to respond to our calling. Moreover, they taught us how to obey God and to live the vision and mission accordingly. Sacrificial Spirit and Value of time. As a testimony at the time that we were challenged to start the mission, it is really challenging for us knowing that we're not able and equipped to start or even lead the Lifegroup and the fact that we are not from Pangasinan and we need to rent a house to stay had added to our reservations to pursue such calling. To mention that there is a language barrier, and the culture is different from the place where we came from. I am from Bulacan, and my Husband is from Batangas. But because of the love of Jesus and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit we said Yes not only to our Leaders but most especially to Jesus, the author and finisher of this race He has given us. We enjoyed serving God by simply sharing His love and goodness to people. Imparting all the teachings that we've received from the Church and from the Lord. We're constantly giving our best, our time, our resources even our personal dreams of going out of the country. It is not easy and along the way our faith was tested. There are times that we almost gave up when we are tired physically, when we are struggling financially, when we have family problems, and when trials are coming at the same time. We always saw ourselves crying and kneeling to God praying for strength, provisions, and answers. There are days that He is answering us but there are also days as if He is not hearing us. We keep on fighting the battles in prayers until we hear His Voice reminding us that He is our Emmanuel, He is with us always. He is in control. Indeed, Jesus is our great help and comfort. We received a lot of answered prayers, miracles, supernatural provisions, unexpected blessings after hardships and crying moments. We always celebrate victories and breakthroughs after those breakouts. That's one of the reasons why we keep on trusting His will and ways. Right now, we are still here in Pangasinan. Nine years had passed, and God is still faithful and true to His Words. He's continually sustaining our life and mission here. We struggled a lot, but God is always rescuing us. We still believe in His timing and still waiting for His next instructions to us. He is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever. Where God guides, He provides Isaiah 58:11.
