| Do you find it hard to love people sometimes? It’s easy to love the lovable but difficult to love those that are different 🤔

When we look to Jesus, we see the very definition of unconditional and unending love. Jesus always gravitated to the rejected, overlooked and broken.

In fact He says this in Matthew 5:46-48 TPT:
“What reward do you deserve if you only love the loveable? Don’t even the tax collectors do that? How are you any different from others if you limit your kindness only to your friends? Don’t even the ungodly do that? Since you are children of a perfect Father in heaven, become perfect like him.””

We have a higher call to love those around us - especially when it’s hard and we can only do that when we remain connected to God!

As we stay plugged in, His immense love flows out of our lives naturally. So choose to remain in His love today 🤍

| God wants to meet with us in the secret place. A place with only you and Him. When we choose to lean into Him through private worship, our outward life will naturally bear the fruits of being in His presence. Will you meet Him in that secret place?

| When God prunes, it’s because He has so much more in stored for you. He’s a living gardener, and only wishes for you to produce good and healthy fruit. Our best lessons are learnt when God prunes us and you can trust Him! 🌿

When a gardener prunes, he removes dead and dying branches to make room for new growth 🌱

In the same way, we go through seasons of pruning In our Christian walk. These seasons are not easy, but if we choose to remain in Christ especially when it gets hard, that's when greater growth happens.

Here are 3 truths about being pruned:
1. Pruning is hard... but it produces greater fruit
2. We are purified by what Jesus says
3. Make a resolve to remain... not retreat or run away

To those in the season of pruning, take heart. Seek refuge and strength in Christ! Let's continue pressing into Him through fasting, prayer and leaning into His Word. ❤️‍🔥

| It’s okay, there’s a place for you to rest here. You were never meant to fix yourself. You can’t do it without God!

The world tells us to fix the flaws we see in ourselves. Yet God calls us to do the opposite - Stop. Obey and abide in Him. He wants to guide us and help us. But sometimes it requires us to hold on a little longer during hard times.

So to the ones struggling or looking for an answer, keep holding on! There is rest when we choose to remain in Him.

• "Abiding in Jesus and letting Jesus abide in us is at the heart of the christian walk." ~ Becky ()

In John 15: 1-5, we learn that Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. The vine is what gives the branches the nutrients to produce good fruit.

To abide is to choose to remain connected with God even in the hard times.

Here are some of God's promises when we choose to abide in Him, and He in us:
1. We will bear good fruit
2. We will grow in love and live full lives
3. We can ask what we desire (prayer)
4. We will stop needing to strive

On the other hand, when we are no longer connected to the source - God, we become dry and stop becoming alive.

To remain or to be apart. What choice will you make today?

• “The world speaks loudly about s*x through culture and even dramas! It says that s*x is fun, good, natural and healthy yet fails to address the pains of treating s*x lightly, reducing it to just a physical experience.” ~ Becky ()

God’s original design of s*x is good. It is meant to be enjoyed within the confines of a marriage.

What is the truth abut the beauty of s*x?
1. God is not a killjoy about s*x.. He is the Creator of it!
2. God intended s*x to be expressed ONLY within the boundaries of a marriage convent
3. God’s purpose of s*x is not merely pleasure, but also to create families

We need to take on God’s perspective on s*x. Who are you allowing to dictate your views on s*x and intimacy?

❌ 1/2 + 1/2 = 1
Contrary to what media often portray, 2 broken people don't become whole when they come together.

✅ 1 x 1 = 1
Only when both parties are first made whole in God, then can they benefit each other in the relationship.

| Many people rush into relationships to find resolve for their insecurities, pain and identity crisis. However, they just end up getting disappointed, feeling worse off than before and hurting the other party. 💔

What we need is not temporary comfort from people but healing from God. God is constantly pouring out His great love for us. He sees our every pain and cares for us (Psalms 56:8). He is our Provider, perfect Father and our greatest Comforter.

Are you seeking love and comfort in the wrong places? It's time to turn to God and allow Him to perform His healing in you today! ❤️‍🩹

• “We take time to carefully consider the best course to apply for and the best school to go to… why don’t do you do the same and more for relationships?” ~ Becky ()

God is creator and He designed relationships! He is also relational and designed for us to be relational beings just like Him.

Still, a good relationship doesn’t just happen. It requires intentional planning and preparation so that both individuals can enjoy the journey!

Three signs of readiness:
1. You are ready when you are a benefit to your partner
2. You are ready when you are healthy on your own
3. You are ready when you know who you are and what you are looking for in a relationship

Are you ready for a relationship? The answer cannot be found in what we feel. Emotions are indicators and not guides.

So as we navigate these desires, let us not lean on our own understanding but invite the Holy Spirit to guide us on this journey 🕊️

| Real talk - do you really know what love is? Something that looks like love might actually just be desire or lust. But when we confuse real love and the world’s definition of love, we end up compromising for perverted forms of affection.

God’s original design is found in His Word. God Himself is love. You were designed to experience real love and perfect love is found in God.
