Got Big Questions? Join Beta.

"I've been in the faith for a while, but was going through the motions without really engaging with the core truths. I needed a space where I could ask some of the "big" questions without feeling judged.

Several elements of Beta truly stood out, but the small group discussion time and Stephen’s talks were arguably the most helpful; the talks were fantastic and provided a lot of philosophy and history. The course also demystified many concepts such as Creation, Holy Spirit and the history of the Bible.

Moving forward, I hope to have a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper commitment to learn more about the faith and the truths in the Bible. A great follow up would be to learn how to integrate these learnings into daily areas of our lives."
— James, Beta participant

If you're a non-believer or just someone with big questions about the Christian faith, we invite you to join Beta for a time of honest conversations and exploration about who Jesus is. Let's journey together. More information can be found on our website link in bio.

Handmade flowers, fruits in brown bags, care packs lovingly tied — these were just some of the gift tokens that Covenant groups from Bukit Panjang Centre presented to residents as they went door-to-door at nearby blocks to apologise in advance for the noise and inconveniences that could arise from our upcoming major renovations.

From 6 June 2026, Covenant EFC (Bukit Panjang) will be temporarily moving its English congregations to ACS(I) at Dover, while our Mandarin and Hokkien congregations will move to the Korean church at Gangsa Road.

We were truly blessed by the conversations with the residents, and we pray that when our renewed centre is ready in two years, we will be able to better serve the people of Bukit Panjang!

As one church, we dedicated our board led by Elder Amos Leong as Chairman, and committed them to the Lord on Sunday. During the service, Elder Amos gave a summary of our 2026 Annual General Meeting and exhorted Covenanters "to pray for us, to support us, and to stand together in unity as one Covenant family".

Our church board serves as overseers of church governance, guardians of church policy, projectors of church vision, protectors of church doctrines, stewards of church resources, and executors of church discipline.

We are grateful and encouraged by their willingness and obedience in taking up this sacred calling as our leaders — Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses. May they lead with humility, integrity and faith as they seek to be examples of authentic discipleship and models of intentional disciplemaking.

At Covenant EFC, our Annual General Meeting is more than a governance milestone. On Saturday, we had a meaningful family time of thanksgiving, reflection and shared discernment of how God is leading us forward, over a warm and illuminating fireside chat held at Bukit Panjang (BPJ) Centre.

We gave thanks for God’s provision over the past year, and the spirit of generosity among Covenanters as we geared up for two major projects — the major renewal of BPJ Centre through an Additions and Alterations (A&A) project, and the building of our third centre at Sengkang, to better serve the communities. Indeed, we are "Three Centres, ONE Church"!

Our members also affirmed the re-election and appointment of our Board members — Deacons, Deaconesses and Elders. We thank God for raising both experienced and new leaders to serve the church.

Let's pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders, as they make God-led decisions that furthers our mission to return the Church to its disciplemaking roots through authentic discipleship and intentional disciplemaking.

Forty-one Covenanter youths declared their faith in Jesus on Holy Saturday through water baptism!

We thank God for His faithfulness through their discipleship journey and how He has transformed their lives.

Let's continue to pray for them to grow deeper in love with Jesus, trusting more fully as they walk with Him daily.

We praise God for our Easter Production — “The Stones We Carry” — that happened over Holy Week! Many of us invited our friends and loved ones to hear the good news of hope, freedom and victory in Jesus through His resurrection.

We also brought our ‘stones’ that we carried in our lives — fear, insecurity, bitterness, guilt, and control — and released and surrendered them to God through a symbolic act.

Big thanks to the Easter production team — both onstage and behind the scenes, as well as those who ran all the other outreaches in for the The Next Generation Ministries - Preschool and Primary, Home Missions and Mandarin & Hokkien Ministries too. We pray that the seeds sown will grow in faith as we continue to love our friends and neighbours in Christ.

“What weight have you been carrying?”
All of us carry stones whether we're aware of it, or not.
These stones weigh us down, turning us bitter, guilty, or hurt.

"The Stones We Carry”, a production that tells the Easter story through the lens of everyday life — explores the hidden burdens many of us carry, and the hope, freedom and victory that can still heal our hearts today.

Dates:
29 March (Palm Sunday) at CEFC East@Suntec
3 April (Good Friday) at CEFC Bukit Panjang Centre
6 April (Easter Sunday) at CEFC Woodlands Centre

Time: 8:45am | 10:45am

There will still be Good Friday services at East and Woodlands Centre on 3 April.

We celebrate the installation of Pastor Rachael Lau, Pastor Lee Hui Fang and Pastor Tristan Siu on Saturday, and praise the Lord for what He's done in and through their lives.

Pastor Rachael leads the Leadership Development and Training for youth ministry leaders across our three centres, and oversees the The Next Generation (TNG) ministry at Covenant East. Ps Rachael is passionate about raising the next generation of leaders and partnering with the wider church community as she believes it takes a village to nurture a child.

Pastor Hui Fang was previously the Youth Ministry Lead from 2014 to 2019, and now oversees the Primary Ministry (LPUP) at Covenant East. Passionate about building the next generation, she draws on her counselling training as part of the Family Life Core Team to support family initiatives and strengthen the church.

Pastor Tristan serves as a Worship Pastor and is passionate about seeing worship shape lives, deepen faith, and raise up a generation that will follow Christ wholeheartedly. Previously the TNG staff-in-charge of East Youth, Pastor Tristan, together with his family, has called Covenant home since 2019.

As they step into their new calling as pastors, let’s continue to pray that the Holy Spirit will strengthen, encourage, and allow them to shepherd the church with love, wisdom and humility.

Encouragers-in-Covenant’s (EIC) Kingdom-led perspective moulds the final third of your life into the finest third.”
– Dr Santha
