“And He it is Who sends down the rain...” 🌧️🍃

Our rihlah started off with a downpour, but reminder: rain is nikmat Allah. It softened the earth, cooled the trail, and brought us all closer together. Weathering the rough start together only made the sunshine at the end feel warmer.

Ended the trip the only right way with spicy comfort food, loud laughter, and hearts fully reset. That ayam lemak cili api + buldak sauce combo hit different after a day in nature. 🌶️✨ Grateful for every drop, every bite, and every memory 💚

Need a little break from the constant rush?

This Green Rihlah, we’re heading to Coney Island Park for a morning of reconnecting with nature, reflecting on Allah’s signs, and recharging our hearts.

But don’t worry… it won’t just be a peaceful walk. 👀

Look forward to fun challenges, exciting activities, meaningful conversations, and plenty of moments to laugh, bond and create memories together. Whether you’re joining with your friends or coming on your own, there’s a place for you.

Sometimes, the best reminders come when you’re surrounded by good company and the beauty of Allah’s creation. 🌿

Thank Allah It’s Friday is back! 🌙

In conjunction with the blessed month of Rabi’ al-Awwal, join us for another exciting TAIF session with Ustaz Hafiq as we explore the character of Rasulullah ﷺ through authentic hadiths and discover why he remains the greatest role model for us all.

Date: 24th July 2026 (THIS Friday)
Venue: Classroom 5, Level 4, Masjid An-Nahdhah.

Together, we’ll reflect on how Rasulullah ﷺ interacted with his family, companions, children, neighbours, and even those who opposed him, while uncovering timeless lessons that we can apply in our own lives.

💐A Day With MIJ💐 came back this year. . . TWICE!! DOUBLE the fun & rewards in sha Allah🤲

Whilst spending time with the amazing Special Needs cooking team, we were able to give back to the community🫂 through food. Meticulously prepping the ingredients🥬, mixing them up in the pot🥘 and packing into individual containers🍱, not once but twice together!

Truly, nothing is complete without a reflection💬 of the days’ work. Throughout the programme, our volunteers got to know the students better, bonding over our shared interests🚲🤽
We often try to express our empathy and even concern for others, and nothing truly beats lived experience, even if it was a day (or two).

Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to support the people around us. To many more Munawwarin x events‼️
