A desperate religious leader and a suffering woman. Two different stories, one common hope—Jesus.

Jairus, a synagogue leader, pleaded for his dying daughter’s life, while a woman, suffering for 12 years, reached out in faith just to touch His robe. Both believed and both encountered the miraculous power of Christ. Their lives were disrupted and never the same.

Divine disruptions could be God’s providence to turn us back to Him. In the face of disruption, both Jairus and the Woman chose to re-order and turn towards Jesus.

🔍 Seven Woes — A timely reminder from Matthew 23.
In this sermon, we reflect on Jesus’ rebuke of the Pharisees and challenge ourselves: Are we more concerned with outward appearances than the condition of our hearts? 🤔

The Pharisees may seem like distant figures in history, but in reality, they may look more like you and me. Are we focusing on legalism, outward rituals, and the fear of man, rather than justice, mercy, and a true relationship with God? 💔

It’s time to examine our hearts. Let’s move away from empty religiosity and toward genuine repentance and transformation. 🙏
