Lay Dominicans Singapore Official page of the Lay Dominican Fraternity of St. Francisco de Capillas, based in Singapore.

Founded in 2007 under the auspices of the Holy Rosary Province of the Order of Preachers, the Lay Dominicans are lay Catholics in Singapore who are called by a special vocation to progress in the Christian way of life by sharing in the charism and mission of the Dominican Order. All are welcome to join us as we strive to praise, bless, and preach God's love and truth.

Who are the Dominicans?

Also known as the Order of Preachers (O.P.), the history of the Dominicans stretch as far back as the year 1216. While the Lay Dominicans in Singapore is a cosy group, the Dominican family is spread across the world, consisting of priests, friars, cloistered nuns, active sisters and professed laity.
