Seek ye first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and let us accept God as King of our lives, giving Him control. He empowers us over evil.

Our Christian life requires continued discernment. We remember how Solomon became foolish in his old age and we remember Joseph whose faithfulness and forgiveness foreshadows Christ's message for us.

Matthew 13:1-23 : We can be in all these situations at once. But like the farmer, who is always looking for solutions (how to prevent birds from picking the seeds, tackle the weeds, use tech to improve growth), we should also seek to improve the yield of the Kingdom of God.

So don't give up, build your faith knowledge and understanding, tackle distractions, rejoice with fervour when a lost sheep returns.

Jesus helps us understand that God is not a militant, He has a heart gentle and humble. Lean on Him. Surrender to Him. We don't walk alone.

May your week be spirit-filled. Holy Spirit of God, help us.

Matthew 10:37-42

She said to her husband, ‘Look, I am sure the man who is constantly passing our way must be a holy man of God. Let us build him a small room on the roof, and put him a bed in it, and a table and chair and lamp; whenever he comes to us he can rest there.’

🕊️ Four new priests for the Church! 🕊️

Tomorrow, 1 June 2026, the Church in Singapore rejoices as Deacons Bernard Tng, Eugene Chan, Kevin Wee and Marcus Chew are ordained to the Sacred Priesthood by Cardinal William Goh at St Joseph’s Church (Bukit Timah).

This is a grace not just for them, but for all of us — four more men giving their whole lives so that we may receive the Eucharist, be forgiven in Confession, and be accompanied to heaven. 🙏

🔔 Please pray for them today and tomorrow — that the Lord who has begun this good work will bring it to completion.

The Church of St Michael joyfully welcomed the students and staff of Pasir Ris Crest Secondary for a Religious Harmony Trail on 25 May 2026 to learn more about the Catholic Faith. The Religious Harmony Trail celebrates the nation's multi-cultural and multi-religious diversity, and showcases how various faith groups have coexisted side by side for over a century.
