*GOD’S WISDOM AND STRENGTH ARE ARISING IN YOU*

*Psalm 18:28-29, 32-34 (NKJV), Philippians 2:13 (NLT) For You will light my lamp; The Lord…will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall. *It is God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my
high places. He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. *…Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.*

If David who was in the Old Testament could declare the kind of things he declared in our first text above, child of God, for you who is in Christ, your testimonies will be bigger and better than these. By God's wisdom and strength, you will experience unbelievable testimonies in every area of your life. You shall never be stranded again in your life.

When you are conscious of God's divine wisdom and strength that is always available for you in Christ, your attitude to the challenges in your life will change. James 1:2-5 (NLT) declares, “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”

God will not only grant you His wisdom and strength generously, He will grant you an abundant supply of everything that you need in that situation you have found yourself in. Just ask Him by faith for it. He loves
you and He wants to help you, strengthen you and lift you up. God is working in you and giving you the desire and power to do what pleases Him. God is helping you from the inside to know and experience everything that is His will for your life. You will be strong in the study of God's word and in prayers, you will walk in love, you will succeed and prosper on your job, in your finances, in your family, in your health and in your ministry. You will make the right decisions continually and you will fulfil purpose.

*Prayer:*
Pray in the Spirit right now and thank God for His abundant wisdom and strength that are rising up within you and overflowing in your life.

GIFTS and GIVING

Christmas is the season of giving. Why do we give and receive gifts at Christmas time? After all, it is not our birthday! Why do some exchange their gifts on Christmas Eve, while others do so on Christmas Day?

Timing
A Biblical day began at sunset. God's day begins in darkness and ends in light. Today, with our electricity and clocks we calculate days from midnight to midnight. Man’s day begins in darkness and ends in darkness.

So Christmas Day, 25 December, Biblically, begins as the sun sets on Christmas Eve, 24 December. For this reason, many families from Germanic and Nordic ancestry, celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve.

The Greatest Gift
We give gifts at Christmas time in honour of the greatest Gift ever given. For "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son". Freely we have received, freely we must give. It is far more blessed to give than to receive.

Getting vs. Giving
Yet, we still have many people who have not grasped this most basic truth of Christmas. To many, Christmas is the season for getting, not giving. Many have their hands out asking, where is their Christmas box? "What do you have for me?" "Give me! Give me! Give me!" Complete strangers seem to have no shame in demanding some gift for themselves on Christmas Day. We need to remind them whose birthday we are celebrating.

The First Christmas Gifts
The very first Christmas gifts were given by the wise men from the East. They travelled great distances, across difficult and dangerous terrain, in order to worship the Greatest Person ever born. They presented extraordinary gifts: Gold for the King of kings; Frankincense for the High Priest of all priests; Myrrh for the sacrifice that would end the need for any other blood sacrifices.

These men from the East were wise. They recognised when the Messiah would be born. They discovered where He would be born. As they came from Babylon and Persia, where Daniel had served, they were no doubt aware of the prophecies made by Daniel, which clearly identified when the Messiah would be born. The gifts were most appropriate.

They recognised that this was not merely an heir to the throne, a prince, being born! "Where is He who has been born King …?" They recognised that gold was most appropriate for the King of all kings.

Frankincense is symbolic of prayers and worship, so in presenting frankincense they recognised that the Messiah would be the High Priest over all priests.

Myrrh was an ointment used for burial. Jesus Christ was coming as the Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world.

The Crib, the Cross and the Crown
At Christmas, we remember the crib, but we also need to look beyond the crib to the Cross. The wood of the crib should remind us of the wood of the Cross, on which our Lord would die, a willing sacrifice for your sins and mine. But the wise men looked beyond the wood of the crib and of the Cross to the gold of the crown. For we no longer worship a babe in a manger, or even a suffering Saviour on the Cross, but a risen, ascended Redeemer reigning on high who will return to Judge the living and the dead.

The Lamb of God and the Lion of Judah
The crib, the Cross and the crown. The crib reminds us of the Incarnation. Jesus is Emmanuel - God with us. The Cross reminds us of why Jesus came. He lived the perfect life that we should have lived and He died the death that we deserve to die. The crown points to the return of the King of kings and the eternal Judge. The first time Jesus came as the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world. The next time He will come as the Lion of Judah to conquer and to Judge.

When Will You Bow to Christ?
The question is not: will you bow to Christ, but when will you bow to Christ? Will you bow to Christ today in the day of grace, when forgiveness is freely available? When the door to heaven is wide open? Or will you bow on the Day of Judgment, when the door to salvation is firmly closed when the day of grace is ended? We will either bow to Christ as Saviour today, or we will bow to Him as Judge, on that great and dreadful Day of Judgment.

What Gift Will You Give?
As we remember His birthday at Christmas we should ask: What gift will you give the One whose birthday we are celebrating? What can you give to our Lord Jesus Christ? What gifts would be appropriate for the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Creator and eternal Judge? Our Saviour and Redeemer?

The Boy Who Gave Jesus His Lunch
Andrew brought a little boy to Jesus and the little boy gave Jesus his lunch - five loaves and two fish. With that little boy's lunch, the Lord Jesus fed thousands with the food He multiplied. Jesus can do a lot with a little.

The Widow's Mite
Our Lord Jesus pointed out that the widow gave more than all the rest. The widow's mite may have looked very small in the eyes of those around, but the Lord, knowing how little she had, recognised that she had actually given everything she could.

The Expensive Perfume
Mary gave Christ the gift of expensive perfume, anointing Him for burial. "Then Mary took a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus feet and wiped His feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume".

Zacchaeus
Zacchaeus hosted Jesus and honoured Him by making restitution and donating much of his riches to the poor.

Give Him Your Attention
Jesus said; "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." What can you give the Lord Jesus Christ? You can give Him your attention. Study His Word. Learn His Law. Get to know the Word of God and the God of the Word. Meditate on His Word, the Bible. Determine to put first things first. Bible before breakfast. Scripture before supper. Psalm before lunch. Read through the whole Bible this year. That will only take ten to twelve minutes a day to read four chapters of the Bible each day. There are 1187 chapters in the Bible. If you read just four chapters a day you will be able to read through the entire Bible in one year. How can you know His will unless you study His Word?

The Sacrifice of Obedience
"To obey is better than sacrifice." Determine to obey God. Dedicate your life to obeying the Cultural Mandate of Genesis 1:28. Care for and improve God's creation. Plant trees. Cultivate gardens. Adopt animals. Care for the environment. Recognise that all animals belong to God. Treat animals with the care and diligence of those who must give an account to the Creator and eternal Judge. Be kind to God's animals. Ensure that animals have access to fresh, clean water and good healthy food. Do not waste food. Think of your pets, wild birds and other animals who can benefit. Do not litter. Recycle. Be thoughtful and considerate.

Make Christ's Great Commission Your Supreme Ambition
Obey the Great Commission. Dedicate your life to making disciples, teaching obedience to all things that the Lord has commanded. Introduce others to Christ. Witness for Christ. Be alert to evangelistic opportunities. Give Christ your love, your devotion, your worship and adoration. Give Him your heart and mind and hands and feet. Devote your time, talents and treasure to Christ and His Kingdom. Use your initiative and energy to advance the Kingdom of God. Be whole- hearted and persevere to the end.

Give Christ All that you Have
Does Jesus have all of you that there is to have? Jesus said that the widow gave all that she had. What have you given to God?

Have you made promises that you have gone back on?

Have you made commitments that you have not honoured?

Be Reconciled to Your Brother
Jesus said leave your gift at the altar and first go and be reconciled with your estranged brother. Make that phone call. Write that letter. Forgive. Ask for forgiveness. Do restitution. These would be acceptable gifts and sacrifices of praise to present to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on His birthday.
Make This Your Best Christmas Ever
Jesus is the Reason for the season. Wise men seek Christ. Give Christ your time, talents and treasure. Your hands, feet, lips, heart and life. Give Him your worship, obedience, sacrifice, attention and adoration. To obey is better than sacrifice. Do restitution. Be reconciled to your friends and family. Be generous. Be grateful. Recognise the many Evangelistic opportunities around you. Give God the very best that you have. Do not waste your life on the empty boxes of the world. Do not settle for less than God's very best. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6: 33

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow, I realize how much we have to be thankful for.

I'm thankful.

It's been a dark year with a lot of pain and disappointments, but God has been faithful through it all.

Do I know what the future holds?

No.

But I know something even better.

I know the One who created the future.

I just can't be discouraged when I realize the Creator of time, space, and energy holds us in the palm of His hand.

Even on a bad day, I can't count all my blessings.

I've read the end of the Bible, and I'm 100% certain that God wins. I'm 100% certain that His children win.

Regardless of what comes and what the future holds, I know God has it all under His control and authority.

Doesn't that just take the weight off your shoulders?

UNDERSTANDING YOUR BIBLE
The Bible does not treat us as a book, but your disbelief will not change that fact. Remember that the enemy is told to give and see.

Friends, are you at war? Are you fighting hard? Do you know how to fight and what to fight for? Are you ready? If you are unprepared and unprepared, you will be taken prisoner.

Paul's Council;
Live, work, walk, especially when you have a fight that you have seen and still understand. The fact that you are called a non-Christian, shows that you do not have because, you have a value that everyone protects. If you ignore the gift of God, Christ, no one has.

Lord look at my pain, we are threatened, we have no weapons, the enemy has destroyed the church just as the Midianites did not seir the time of the judges and now the nature of the church, blinds our eyes to the world and its beauty now we worship it and Jesus refused to worship it, God forgive us and help us in the name of Jesus our Lord I pray, Amen.

John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth [set them apart for your purposes, make them holy], Your word is truth.

John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh conveys no benefit [it is of no account]. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life [providing eternal life].

John 1:1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.

The first revelation the Holy Spirit ever gave me was that His Words were literally spirit and life to my being. I remember vividly my excitement when I understood how His Holy Word brought life to my soul. Now at the time I could not comprehend the depth of the magnificent theology, but I understood in my heart that His Word was alive. I understood it was life to me. I understood the eternal power of it and I understood His words were Spirit.

Now today the Holy Spirit wants me to try to explain the unspeakable, indescribable and inexpressible truth which I cannot even begin to do justice to. Yet, in these powerful scriptures, the Holy Spirit gives us TRUTH of all the ages of time, if we can just accept and believe and choose to walk in faith given to us by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Messiah and King.

Now holiness is what we were created for. If you can comprehend the power of His Word to transform us, you can see in John 17:17 His Holy Word can pe*****te us so completely, that it literally transforms us. Forgive my inability to describe this miracle, but try to imagine a change in the realm of metamorphosis. Yet also include the word eternal and transfiguration then you see just a tiny part of the enormous power involved in this by GOD in us to sanctify us His children and make us holy vessels.

When Jesus was talking to his disciples, (John 15:3), He knew the Words that he was speaking to them were life changing. He knew the spiritual power in every syllable being uttered from His lips had the capacity and the ability to cleanse them, to purify them and to sanctify them. He knew that these Words were Spirit and thus connected with the power of eternity.

In John 6:63 Jesus says to them “ the words I have spoken to you are spirit and life”. Jesus was speaking of course of eternal life. He knew that His Words led to eternal life if they were believed and acted upon.

Brothers and sisters, although I cannot properly get across the depths of this magnificent, majestic and most resplendent Truth of Gods Holy Eternal Word, I ask you to read these awe-inspiring scriptures today and ask the Holy Spirit to give you a personal revelation that can transform you. Because if you make a decision to put His Word into practice everyday in your life, His Word will powerfully and eternally change you into a vessel of holiness. Yes, His Word will transform you utterly, and while doing this, He will set you apart for His purposes, sanctifying you, cleansing you and purifying you by the washing of His Word over your life and your being.

THE BENEFITS OF PATIENCE
••••••••••••••••••••••

JAMES 1: 4

But don’t be impatient to do your job.

JAMES 1:12

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

- Patience is an important factor in a person's life that brings benefits to the patient.

Jesus told the disciples to keep the Holy Spirit but many people get tired and go out of the room the Spirit finds only 120 people in it is 500.

- Patience is powerful and makes a person feel good.

For many, patience fails and leads to mistakes and blessings.

- If you are patient you will achieve great things in life.

- Be patient with the fruit you sow in yourself and it will bring you the best in the future.

Endure poverty, sickness and various other things tomorrow will change for the better because tomorrow is the end of the good but it will only be eaten by the patient.

I look forward to enduring the trials and tribulations that will be given to you.

Thank you!

Theme: Forgiviness

Matthew 18:21-22 Then came Peter to him, and said, “Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses

The Holy Spirit has asked me to write this simple yet serious post today on forgiveness. These above scriptures are simple enough and straight forward enough for us to understand. Yet, so many of us blatantly disregard and disobey these commands of Jesus.

You see, the biggest problem in obeying these scriptures is that we choose to hold on to our hurts instead of giving them over to HIM. You see, it is within our sinful natures to hold on and nurture our hurts and our anger. The problem being of course, that the result of doing this directly interferes with our relationship with God. Why do you think the Lord tells us to immediately forgive? He knows that unforgiveness breeds poison within our hearts.

Let us read the amplified bible version of this passage. Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses.

So here is the warning my friends. Please heed it, for it is from the Lord. Please read Matthew 7:2 For just as you [hypocritically] judge others (when you are sinful and unrepentant), so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure (used to pass out judgement), judgement will be measured to you.

The Holy Spirit gives warning to us now. Do you heed it brothers and sisters? I do. I heed it. I certainly have been guilty of this very hypocrisy.
I certainly have stood in judgement with an unrepentant heart. Yet with this same measure we judge others with, will be the exact measure that we ourselves are judged with. Let us soberly allow the truth of His holy Word to pe*****te our hearts.

Brothers and sisters, meditate on these truths today I ask you. Do you and have you truly forgiven others and given over all your hurts and anger over to Him. Have you given it all over to Him? Have you freely chosen from your heart to forgive those whom have sinned against you and hurt you?
I ask you now to allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart and to bring up any and all sins that have kept you in bo***ge and poisoned your spirit. For Gods Word is truth. It does not lie. If you have not forgiven those whom have trespassed against you. The Lord would say that you yourself are not forgiven of your own sins. And if this is true, then the bible says that the wrath of God remains upon you.

Father I pray right now that everyone who reads this post and has not forgiven someone will be convicted by your Holy Spirit and will immediately repent of this unforgiveness and forgive those ones whom have hurt them and sinned against them. I pray this Holy Spirit conviction upon every one whom hear and read this message.
Amen.Theme: Forgiviness
