God Has Been Faithful

“I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.” — Psalm 77:11

Sometimes, we become so focused on what is happening right now that we forget to look back and remember how faithful God has already been.

There were moments when you thought you wouldn’t make it. There were situations you didn’t understand, prayers that seemed unanswered, and seasons when you wondered, “Lord, what are You doing?”

But look at where you are today.

You are still here.

Not because you figured everything out. Not because you were always strong. But because God carried you through things you thought would break you.

When we look back, we can see that God’s faithfulness was present even in seasons when we couldn’t understand His plan.

So when you face uncertainty about your future, don’t allow today’s problems to erase yesterday’s evidence of God’s goodness.

Remember what God has done.

If He provided before, He can provide again.
If He opened a door before, He can open another.
If He sustained you before, He will sustain you again.
If He brought you through your darkest season, He can bring you through this one too.

You don’t need to know everything about tomorrow.

You only need to trust the One who already knows tomorrow.

Reflect

What is one thing God has done in your life that you sometimes forget to thank Him for?

Today, instead of asking God only for what you still need, take a moment to simply say:

“Lord, thank You for how far You have brought me.”

Your story isn’t finished.

And if God has been faithful this far, you can trust Him with what comes next.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. Forgive me for the times I focus so much on my problems that I forget everything You have already done for me. Help me remember Your goodness when I feel afraid, uncertain, or discouraged. Teach me to trust You—not only when I understand, but especially when I don’t. Whatever tomorrow brings, I choose to believe that You are still in control. Thank You for carrying me this far. I surrender my future into Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

She Was Always Waiting for Bad News…

“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” — Psalm 112:7

There was a woman who seemed to have one thing in common with every emergency room in the city:

They knew her.

Not because she worked there.

Not because she had a serious illness.

But because she was always afraid that something was terribly wrong.

One day, she felt her heart beating faster than usual.

She immediately froze.

“What if this is something serious?”

Her hands started trembling.

Her chest felt strange.

She felt lightheaded.

And within minutes, she called an ambulance.

The paramedics arrived and checked her.

Her blood pressure was fine.

Her oxygen level was normal.

Her heart rhythm was reassuring.

She was taken to the hospital, where the doctors examined her.

Again, the results were reassuring.

“You're okay.”

Those words brought her relief.

But the relief never seemed to last.

A few days later, she felt another strange sensation.

This time, it was tingling in her hand.

She immediately thought of the worst possibilities.

She searched the internet.

One symptom became ten possible diseases.

Ten possibilities became fear.

And fear became another emergency call.

The ambulance came again.

Another hospital visit.

Another series of tests.

Another reassuring result.

“You're okay.”

But inside, she didn't feel okay.

She was healthy, but she was terrified.

She became so focused on her body that every normal sensation felt like a warning.

A heartbeat was no longer just a heartbeat.

A headache was no longer just a headache.

A little dizziness wasn't simply dizziness.

Everything had become a potential emergency.

She wasn't pretending.

Her fear was real.

The physical sensations were real.

The racing heart was real.

The trembling was real.

The tightness was real.

But eventually, she began to understand something she had never considered before:

Not every uncomfortable sensation means something is wrong.

And not every frightening thought is a prediction of the future.

She started talking to her doctors about her anxiety instead of assuming every symptom was a medical emergency.

She learned to pause.

To breathe.

To step away from the internet.

To remind herself of what her doctors had already told her.

And most importantly, she began learning to trust God in the moments when she couldn't control what she was feeling.

One night, another wave of fear came.

Her heart began racing.

Her first instinct was to reach for her phone and call for an ambulance.

But this time, she stopped.

She took a breath.

She closed her eyes.

And she prayed:

“Lord, I don't know why my body feels this way right now. But I don't want fear to control my life anymore. Help me trust You even when I don't understand what I'm feeling.”

The fear didn't disappear instantly.

But something inside her began to change.

She realized that she had been living as if bad news was always just one heartbeat away.

She was constantly waiting for something terrible to happen.

And that's when Psalm 112:7 became personal to her:

“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.”

She realized that faith doesn't mean you'll never feel afraid.

Faith means you don't have to let fear make every decision for you.

She still had anxious moments.

She still had days when her body felt strange.

But she stopped treating every sensation as a catastrophe.

She stopped living her life in constant anticipation of bad news.

Little by little, she began to live again.

She went out without constantly checking her pulse.

She slept without searching symptoms online.

She enjoyed conversations without wondering whether something was wrong with her heart.

She learned that peace doesn't always come from knowing exactly what is happening.

Sometimes, peace comes from knowing Who is with you while you don't have all the answers.

Maybe you're like her.

Maybe you're constantly afraid that something is wrong.

Maybe every unusual sensation sends your mind into the worst possible scenario.

Maybe you've spent countless nights asking:

“What if something happens to me?”

“What if this is serious?”

“What if tomorrow brings bad news?”

But perhaps today, God is reminding you:

You don't have to live your life waiting for something terrible to happen.

Be responsible with your health. Seek medical care when symptoms genuinely require it. Listen to your doctors.

But don't let fear convince you that every sensation is a disaster waiting to happen.

And when anxiety comes, bring it to God.

You may not be able to control every sensation.

You may not be able to predict tomorrow.

You may not be able to guarantee that nothing difficult will ever happen.

But you can choose where you place your trust.

“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” — Psalm 112:7

Maybe the miracle isn't that you never feel afraid again.

Maybe the miracle is that fear no longer controls where you go, what you think, or how you live.

So breathe.

Pray.

Trust.

And stop living tomorrow's disasters before tomorrow ever arrives.

Because you may not know what tomorrow holds—

but you know the One who holds it. ❤️🙏

If You Don’t Know What Tomorrow Holds, Why Not Surrender Today to the One Who Does?

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this.” — Psalm 37:5

There was a girl who came to the office one morning, just like any other day.

She was a medical worker who genuinely loved what she did. She enjoyed assisting people, helping wherever she was needed, and serving with the heart of a nurse. She worked hard, cared for others, and always tried to give her best.

That morning, everything seemed normal.

She had no idea that her life was about to take an unexpected turn.

The next day, HR called her.

There was a company reconstruction, and unfortunately, her position was one of those affected.

Her service was no longer needed.

Just like that, the job she thought she would still have tomorrow was suddenly gone.

She probably went home with a thousand questions.

“What am I going to do now?”
“Why did God allow this?”
“What happens to my plans?”

What made it even harder was that she was already waiting for an opportunity to work in the United States. Her employer/agency in the U.S. had already started the employment process for her, and she had been patiently waiting for the next steps.

But now, she had lost the job she depended on.

It must have felt like everything was falling apart at the same time.

Yet she couldn’t see what God could see.

She continued with the U.S. employment process, submitted the documents she needed, waited for the required approvals, and eventually reached the stage where she could move forward with her visa application.

Then came the day she had been praying for.

Her U.S. work visa was approved.

The very opportunity she had been waiting for was finally becoming a reality.

Suddenly, what looked like a devastating ending began to look different.

The job she lost wasn’t the end of her story.

It was a redirection.

She thought God was taking something away from her.

But perhaps God was making room for something she had been praying for all along.

And maybe that’s how God works sometimes.

We see the closed door.

God sees the next door.

We see the loss.

God sees the purpose.

We see the ending.

God sees the beginning.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11

Maybe you’re facing a closed door right now.

Maybe you lost a job.

Maybe an opportunity didn’t work out.

Maybe something you prayed for seems farther away than ever.

And you’re asking, “Lord, why?”

Perhaps you don’t need to know the answer yet.

Perhaps you simply need to trust Him.

Because you may not know what tomorrow holds.

But God does.

So if you don’t know what tomorrow holds, why not surrender today to the One who does?

Surrender your plans.
Surrender your fears.
Surrender your career.
Surrender your unanswered prayers.
Surrender the future you are trying so hard to control.

Because sometimes, the door that closes today is only preparing you for the door that God will open tomorrow.

You don’t have to understand God’s plan to trust God’s heart.

So keep praying.

Keep trusting.

Keep surrendering.

Because what feels like an ending today may just be the beginning of the answer you’ve been waiting for. ❤️🙏

Trust His Heart

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
— Isaiah 55:8

There are moments in life when we ask God, “Why?”

Why did this happen?
Why is this taking so long?
Why did You allow this door to close?
Why am I going through something I never expected?

Sometimes, God doesn’t immediately give us an answer.

And that’s where faith begins.

Trusting God doesn’t always mean understanding His plan. Sometimes, it simply means believing that even when we cannot see His hand, we can still trust His heart.

We see only one chapter. God sees the entire story.

What feels like a delay may be preparation.
What feels like rejection may be protection.
What feels like an ending may actually be the beginning of something God has prepared for us.

The Bible reminds us in Romans 8:28 that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. Notice that it doesn’t say that everything that happens is good. Some things genuinely hurt. Some seasons are confusing. Some losses are painful.

But God can take even those things and use them for a purpose.

Maybe today you are waiting for an answer. Maybe you’re praying for something that hasn’t happened yet. Maybe you’re standing in a situation where you don’t understand what God is doing.

Don’t let what you don’t understand make you doubt what you already know about Him.

You may not understand His plan, but you know He is faithful.
You may not see the way forward, but you know He is with you.
You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you know who holds tomorrow.

So when you cannot trust the situation, trust His heart.

When you cannot see the road, keep walking with Him.

When you don’t have the answers, hold on to the One who does.

Reflection

Ask yourself:

“Am I trusting God only when I understand what He is doing, or am I willing to trust Him even when I don’t?”

Today, surrender the things you cannot control. Give God your unanswered questions, your fears, your disappointments, and your plans.

You don’t have to figure everything out tonight.

God is already in tomorrow.

Prayer

Lord,

There are things in my life that I don’t understand. There are prayers I am still waiting to see answered and situations that I wish were different.

But today, I choose to trust You.

Help me remember that Your silence doesn’t mean Your absence, and Your delays don’t mean You have forgotten me.

When I cannot understand Your ways, help me trust Your heart.

Give me the faith to believe that You are working even when I cannot see it. Give me patience while I wait, courage while I walk, and peace while I surrender.

I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but I know You will be there.

So today, I choose to let go of my need to understand everything and simply trust You.

I trust Your heart, Lord, even when I cannot see Your hand.

Amen.
