1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NIV):
"May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

The God of the "Through and Through"
When we think about being "holy" or "blameless," it often feels like a heavy burden—a list of "shoulds" and "shall nots" that we have to achieve on our own. But Paul’s prayer in this verse flips that perspective. Holiness isn't something you produce; it's something God does in you.
1. He is the God of Peace
Paul introduces God as the "God of peace" .This isn't just about a quiet life; it’s about Shalom a deep, restorative wholeness Before God asks anything of you, He offers His peace as the foundation for change.
2. Sanctified Through and Through
God isn't interested in a surface-level fix. He wants to sanctify you "through and through"—reaching into every hidden nook of your life.He cares for the whole man:
* Spirit: Your connection to Him
* Soul: Your mind, will, and emotions
* Body: Your physical health and presence in the world
3. The Promise of Preservation
The pressure to stay "blameless" until Christ’s return can be daunting. However, the very next verse (v. 24) provides the anchor: "The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it" You are not left alone to figure this out; the same God who saved you is the one who will see you to the finish line .
Reflection:🍁🌿
Is there an area of your "spirit, soul, or body" you’ve been trying to fix on your own? Today, surrender that area to the God of peace. Trust that He is currently at work, and He is faithful to complete what He started .
Prayer:🙏
Heavenly Father, thank You for being the God of peace. I surrender my whole self my thoughts, my body, and my spirit to You. Sanctify me through and through, and help me rest in the truth that You are faithful to keep me. Amen.
