Betel é o lugar onde Deus restaura alianças. E quando Deus restaura uma aliança, tudo muda.

Voltamos para o lugar da rendição. Voltamos para o lugar da obediência. Voltamos para o lugar onde Deus fala, cura e transforma.

Foi isso que vivemos através do Culto de Santa Ceia, marcado pela presença de Deus. Um culto de restauração, posicionamento e transformação.

O Espírito Santo trouxe cura para corações, fortaleceu vidas, restaurou propósitos e lembrou-nos que ainda existe um caminho de volta para quem decide responder ao chamado de Deus.

Porque Betel não é apenas um lugar qualquer. Betel representa aquele lugar onde deixamos para trás aquilo que nos afasta de Deus e renovamos a nossa aliança com Jesus.

E foi impossível sair da igreja da mesma forma que entrámos.

Celebrámos, adorámos, ouvimos a Palavra, participámos da Ceia do Senhor e terminámos como família, com alegria, gratidão e a certeza de que Deus continua a transformar vidas.

Bethel is the place where God restores covenants. And when God restores a covenant, everything changes.

We return to the place of surrender. We return to the place of obedience. We return to the place where God speaks, heals, and transforms.

That is what we experienced during our Communion Service, marked by the presence of God. A service of restoration, positioning, and transformation.

The Holy Spirit brought healing to hearts, strengthened lives, restored purpose, and reminded us that there is always a way back for those who choose to respond to God's call.

Because Bethel is not just any place. Bethel represents the place where we leave behind everything that pulls us away from God and renew our covenant with Jesus.

And it was impossible to leave the church the same way we came in.

We celebrated, worshipped, listened to the Word, shared in the Lord’s Supper, and finished as family, with joy, gratitude, and the certainty that God is still transforming lives.

Hoje fomos lembrados de que tudo começa dentro de casa.
Antes de uma igreja forte, existem famílias fortes.
Antes de grandes movimentos, existem pequenos momentos com Deus no secreto.

Muitas vezes procuramos respostas para fortalecer a igreja, mas Deus continua a olhar para os lares.

É na mesa. Na comunhão. Na oração diária. Na vida com Deus em família.

E um princípio sustenta tudo isso: honra.
Honra não depende de circunstâncias, nem de merecimento.
Honra é princípio, e princípios permanecem.

Quando vivemos isso dentro de casa, algo é transformado em nós. E famílias transformadas constroem uma igreja saudável, forte e cheia da presença de Deus.

Today we were reminded that everything begins at home.
Before a strong church, there are strong families.
Before great movements, there are small moments with God in the secret place.

We often look for answers to strengthen the church, but God continues to look at our homes.

It happens at the table. In fellowship. In daily prayer. In family life with God.

And one principle holds it all together: honor.
Honor is not based on circumstances or merit.
Honor is a principle, and principles remain.

When we live this at home, something is transformed within us. And transformed families build a healthy church, strong and full of God’s presence.

A Bíblia não diz honra o teu pai se ele for crente.
Não diz honra a tua mãe se ela for boa pessoa.
Diz honra. Ponto.

Às vezes a gente confunde obedecer com honrar. Mas honrar vai além. Honra é princípio. E princípios não mudam.
Leis mudam. Regras mudam.

Honra permanece.

The Bible doesn’t say honor your father if he’s a believer.
It doesn’t say honor your mother if she’s a good person.
It says honor. Period.

Sometimes we confuse obedience with honor. But honor goes beyond. Honor is a principle. And principles don’t change.
Laws change. Rules change.

Honor remains.

Quando uma família é forte e avança, a igreja se torna forte e avança.
Tudo começa dentro de casa. Na oração do dia a dia. Na estrutura que se constrói no silêncio. Na vida com Deus que ninguém vê, mas que sustenta tudo.
Porque igreja forte não começa no púlpito.
Começa no lar.

Elas já são mensageiras agora.

Hoje foi surreal.
Não há outra palavra. Deus desceu naquele lugar e foi impossível f**ar igual.
A Palavra falou de Neemias. De um homem que não desceu dos muros quando o inimigo tentou intimidar. E a mensagem foi direta: não vás aonde Deus não está. Porque aonde Deus está, ali é glória. Ali é bênção. Ali é restauração. Ali é transformação. E assim como Deus reconstruiu os muros e as portas de Jerusalém, Ele está a fazer mudanças na nossa vida.
Mas o que aconteceu depois da Palavra ficou gravado.
Os jovens e adolescentes foram para o altar. Reuniram-se em círculo na frente da igreja. E começaram a orar uns pelos outros. Um derramava o coração. O outro ao lado sentia. E transbordava também. E o próximo. E o seguinte. E quando olhámos para trás, já não eram só os jovens.
A igreja toda estava a transbordar.
O Espírito Santo esteve ali do primeiro ao último louvor. Em cada momento. Em cada canto. Não deixou ninguém parado. ❤️

Today was surreal.
There's no other word for it. God showed up in that place and it was impossible to leave the same.
The Word spoke of Nehemiah. A man who refused to come down from the walls when the enemy tried to intimidate him. And the message was clear: don't go where God isn't. Because where God is, that's where glory is. That's where blessing is. That's where restoration and transformation happen. And just as God rebuilt the walls and gates of Jerusalem, He is making changes in our lives.
But what happened after the Word was something that stayed.
The youth and teenagers went to the altar. They gathered in a circle at the front of the church. And they began to pray for one another. One poured out their heart. The one next to them felt it. And overflowed too. And the next. And the one after that. And when we looked back, it wasn't just the youth anymore.
The whole church was overflowing.
The Holy Spirit was there from the first song to the last. In every moment. In every corner. He didn't leave anyone untouched. ❤️

Aprender a estar contente em qualquer situação não é fraqueza. É um dos sinais mais claros de maturidade.
Paulo não escreveu isso de um lugar confortável. Escreveu de dentro de uma prisão. E mesmo assim afirmou que tinha aprendido a viver com pouco e com muito. Com tranquilidade e com necessidade.

Não porque era forte.
Mas porque a fonte da sua força não dependia das circunstâncias.

O Pr. Paulo trouxe esse desafio nesse domingo. Maturidade cristã não é chegar a um ponto onde nada abala. É crescer na confiança de quem sustenta quando tudo abala.

Learning to be content in every situation isn't weakness. It's one of the clearest signs of maturity.

Paul didn't write that from a comfortable place. He wrote it from inside a prison. And still, he declared he had learned to live with little and with much. With peace and with need.

Not because he was strong.
But because his strength didn't depend on his circumstances.

Christian maturity isn't reaching a point where nothing shakes you. It's growing in trust in the One who holds you when everything does. ❤️
