Topic: BE DISCIPLINED WITH YOUR SCHEDULE
It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem. Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold. So David sent and inquired about the woman. And someone said, “ Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?” Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her, for she was cleansed from her impurity; and she returned to her house.

One major sign of growth is the ability to create a schedule and work with it. As you grow older, you would need to always follow a routine of success. When I was in the boarding school for instance, we had our day to day activities which we followed through out the term and through out my six year stay in school.
This daily routine turned out to be a blessing in my life as it has helped me till today in building a life of success.
In our story today, we read about one of the most terrible times of King David. This was the time when his integrity as a King was questioned and God was also very angry with him.
He had gone ahead to sleep with a woman who was not his wife and worse still, kill her husband so as to marry her. God's anger was majorly for killing her husband and this brought about curses in the lineage of David. Have you ever had that season of madness in your life when you wonder what went through you and caused you to make such a mistake? Have you been involved in anything that has attracted curses and problems in your life? Well, you may be in the same shoes with David.
However, understanding the cause would prevent you from repeating the same mistake again and again. When you read the beginning of the scripture, you would find out that it all started from David being at the right place at the wrong time.
We are told that at the time when Kings go to war, David stayed at home and this was how he saw the lady. This is the exact reason why many of us fall into trouble.
Anytime you are doing the right thing at the wrong time or wrong thing at the right time or wrong thing at the wrong time, you have registered for the devil to take advantage over you.
I encourage you to create a schedule of success for yourself and follow it. This would ensure that you are consistently doing the right thing at the right time.
At every point in time, always ask yourself this question "is this what I should be doing at this time"? Answering this question would always help you to make adjustments and this would help you to avoid fatal errors in your life.
I pray you don't fall into an error that would destroy your life in Jesus name.
