AWESOME PRAYER - JESUS BE NEAR US
May Christ be near us at either hand: before us, behind us, above us, below us, and within us. In the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus we find the light for our path, the strength for our weakness, the peace for our homes, and the Shepherd who guides us to the end. As we pray for England and Wales to be consecrated to His Sacred Heart, let us first ask that our own hearts may be enshrined in His love, ruled by His grace, and made faithful in all things. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. ❤️‍🔥 / O Galon Sanctaiddaf Iesu, trugarha wrthym. ❤️‍🔥 / Cor Iesu Sacratissimum, miserere nobis. ❤️‍🔥

POPE LEO XIV TO VISIT Pavia & Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, Italy

Pope Leo XIV travels to Pavia and Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, Italy, for a Pastoral Visit on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Deeply connected to Saint Augustine, Pavia holds special significance for the Holy Father, who spent many years serving the Augustinian Order before his election to the Chair of Saint Peter.

During this visit, Pope Leo XIV will meet patients and healthcare workers at the National Center for Oncological Hadrontherapy (CNAO), pray before the relics of Saint Augustine at the Basilica of Saint Peter in Ciel d'Oro, gather with bishops, clergy, consecrated men and women, and permanent deacons, and meet the citizens of Pavia in Piazza Vittoria. The Holy Father will also visit the Cathedral of Pavia for Eucharistic Adoration and prayer before the altar of Saint Siro, patron of the city. The day concludes in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, where Pope Leo XIV will pray in the Parish of Saints Anthony the Abbot and Francesca Cabrini and address the faithful.

Pope Leo XIV encouraged the faithful worldwide to keep alive the beautiful tradition of Corpus Christi processions.

"An expression of popular Eucharistic devotion is found in the processions with the Blessed Sacrament that take place in the streets of many towns and countries; in this regard, I encourage you to keep alive this beautiful manifestation of public witness to the faith."

The Holy Father reminded everyone that the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ this week, inviting believers to contemplate Jesus, "bread broken and given for each one of us."

He also expressed special closeness and prayer for priests and religious serving in the Middle East, saying:

"I accompany with my prayer and my blessing your ministry and the hopes of your respective countries."

🙏 A powerful reminder of public faith and Eucharistic devotion in our modern world.
